Nice and cozy hotel with friendly staff. Perfect location close to bars, restaurants, shopping and the Central Station. Room was clean and of a good size. Breakfast on the sunny veranda was very nice and plentiful.

A hotel with history, built in the 1870-ies. Nowadays in the Scandic chain. Some flaws are more than forgivable in a nearly 150 year old building. The interior bear witness of a high class establishment back in the days - marble, columns, staircase and many details kept and restored. However, the modern operational necessities have clearly a more "Scandic" modest... More

Hi Vierdank, Thank you very much for your review - I love reading all kinds of reviews and especially when you really made an effort to add highs and lows :)! Half of the hotel is still in an older phase, we have kept it that way due to the rooms being so unique. Other half of the hotel is... More

Scandic Kramer is a great choice for tourists in Malmo, because it is located 1 minute a away from the restaurants and pubs area, which is absolutely lovely by the way. The hotel is modern and very clean. A 40 minutes train ride to Copenhagen is a must when visiting Malmo.

Second vist. Hotel is just fine. Classical interiour. Did not dine there, but breakfast was just great. Although coffee (but this seems normal in Sweden), not from a espresso/coffeemachine, but ordinairy filtercoffee. Not my thing. Situated at a square where you can walk in 2 minutes, to another square with lots of wine and dine opportunities. Terraces heated there. All... More

This hotel sells itself on its "heritage", which is a nice way of saying that the rooms and hallways look like a tacky knock-off of 'thirties Bauhaus. Admittedly, the staircase has some really beautiful glasswork, but the rest is just plain old and dreary with dark wooden panels and dated interiors. However, apart from the "hard product", the experience was... More

Hi dhmacher, Thank you for leaving a reviws. The hotel has 2 different types of hallways and rooms, half of the hotel is of modern touch with light wallpaper, chandelliers and modern bright rooms with more standard bathrooms. The other half, the one you stayed in I´m assuming by your description, is of a more old style and has rather... More

The room was tired with old fixtures and fitting although functional. The bed was not very comfortable but the negative aspect was the bathroom. The access to the bath, which doubled up as the shower although you had to hold the shower with one hand, was in my opinion quite dangerous. To get in the bath you had to climb... More

Hotel is located on the main square. Style is old, classy. Positive: great breakfast, nice staff, good location with many restaurants in the neighbourhood and close to railway station. Negative: stained carpet, and very old fashioned bathroom. I think the bathtub itself is not recommended for older people because it is very high and dangerous to get in. Also a... More

I chose this Scandic for its great location a short walk from the central station. I was delighted to find that it is an aging grand hotel whose graceful lines survive the layers of years. In particular I liked the sweeping central staircase and the magnificent wood panelled at/restaurant. (It was a good thing I liked the staircase because the... More

Fantastic hotel located minutes away from central station and to the main square in Malmö. Old building full of charm and of course scandic hotel standard hospitality which is always excellent in my experience. Look no further then here for your next stay in one of the best cities in Europe.
