Aurora Camp is wonderfully located at the Torne River, 12 km from the city of Kiruna. You can book your own cottage, simple rooms in the main building or wilderness suite. We arrange all kinds of tours in both summer and winter. You can also rent a canoe or mountain biking in the summer and skiing or snowshoeing in the winter. But missed especially not our dog sledding and snowmobile tours. Transfer to the camp and from the camp can be booked with us for 350 SEK/car, one way.

Nice location next to the lake in a remote setting. Very comfortable rooms/cabins, with everything you need for a relaxing stay. Staff was very kind and helpful, they will do anything to make your stay better.

The camp is situated around 25 kms from Kiruna in the midst of nature. There is forest around and is definitely a must place for a nature lover. The entry to the camp is a bit tricky (though you have sign board) from the highway. I was there in the coldest time of the winter but I think summer will be beautiful as well. It is just beside the river, which was completely frozen and we viewed the northern lights just from the room through the glass (though the intensity was very less). Most important point for this camp, please travel with all your necessary item (food, drinks etc) as there is nothing nearby.

Me and my friends booked the main village. It looked very nice and clen. We stayed there just for 20 minutes before we left again. Because, we found a mouse in the sofa! So we do not recommend it at all. Be safe, watch out for mice.

We only stayed here for one night, but this is actually a place i'd like to come back to and stay for several days. They have quite a range of cottages and suites in different price classes. We spent the night at the "wilderness suite" which is in the lower price class but still perfectly beautiful. We even had our private little sauna and fireplace! The room was nicely furnished and clean; there's a small fridge, oven, microwave, coffeemaker and stove. The beds were comfy too and the cottage has floor heating which you can regulate yourself. The owner was very friendly and helpful. The whole place is located near a large river in the midst of a forest.

We spent a very good night in the Panorama Room. Unfortunately we saw just a weak Aurora, but the place and the room was very nice and cleaned. This place is a good choice to see Aurora. The staff and the service was incredibly good! We talked long with the staff and they were very friendly and helpful with us. We will come back again! We recommend it for everyone!

Stayed for just one night. Our trip was advertised as an overnight snowmobile tour but it was more like an evening trip to the camp, arriving at 6pm for dinner at 7pm and that was it. It is however a very pretty place. Dinner was enjoyable but the rooms were small and the beds tiny for my size 22 frame! Picked up the next morning to drive the snowmobile back to the garage! We did however see 2 reindeer on the tracks which was a bonus.

This place is "remote" but only 15mins taxi ride from Kiruna. I felt like I was in another world. I stayed in the Artic Light cabin that had AMAZING reviews of the Northern Lights. I saw the aurora 3 times I was there. The third time, the aurora went for 3+ hours. When compared to other places I stayed at, including Abikso, this place was by far the best because I could see the auorora AND keep warm. Tips: * Choosing your room matters; I'd pay extra just to see the aurora from the warmth of the cabin. I froze my a$$ off in other places and i just wanted to go back inside. * Download apps and look at the aurora webcam to determine what time is best to see the aurora. Although the webcam pretty much shows that it happens daily; you just need good visibility. * Cameras are a must. Photons/light particles are processed differently by the eye. Even though you can see a strong aurora without any help; it looks even better/more intense if you use a camera. I had my S10 on nightview. Just keep it still if taking photos. If using a normal camera; use short exposure (3-5 sec). * Cabin comes with a kitchen if you want to cook. I had the camp meals (you have to give them 24hrs notice; even on your first night). * Get alcohol from Kiruna. I was a solo traveller and the staff were really nice and accommodating. They were also very hospitable. I spent 2 weeks in Sweden trying to see the lights. Knowing what I know now, I would've spent more time here and less time everywhere else.

Took the 4 hour sled ride to the Aurora camp from the Sollia Lodge in kirkenes Norway. Our guide Terje Sandness was great. Very knowledgeable of the area and a great sense of humour. They outfit you with warm cloths including snowsuit, hat, boots and gloves. They cook and original Norwegian meal at the lodge and reheat it over an open fire in a teepee type structure. Unfortunately we had a cloudy night so didn't get to see the northern lights but a couple that had dinner with us did see them the night before.

We stayed with a group of ten people in two of the chalets in the woods. The apartments gives you exactly the experience you dream of Lappland. Very cozy apartments in the middle of the woods. The stuff is really friendly and spares no effort to make your stay better. We also used a couple of times the privat sauna that helps you to protect against the cold ;) If you are looking for a place to dig into a adventure in Lappland this is the right place !!!
