Rude staff, small rooms. Shower is a joke.

This hotel was a shocker!! We had booked in for 3 nights but left after one! The rooms are freezing! We were offered a blanket rather than the hotel turn on the heating!! We had booked a double room but had been put in a twin room instead....the staff told us to push the beds together rather than put us...

Do not stay here. The rooms are small (not unusual for Europe), but the beds are so narrow, if you weigh more than 130 pounds you will not fit. The sheets and comforter barely fit the bed and do not tuck in – so if you roll over at night, they will roll off. There is no separate shower or...

I stayed at this hotel for one night on a business trip. The first thing to mention is that the reception staff are quite friendly and my stay looked promising. However, having booked a non smoking room, I found myself in a smoking room! I asked the reception staff to be changed but was told that no NS rooms were...

We booked this through last minute.com in desperation as every thing else was booked. It's in a good location, near the central station in an unremarkable building. The first room we were given was a smoking room, other people on the floor had their doors open and the hallway was pretty smokey. The room was small and basic with lots...

Stayed 2 nights in the Mercure Richmond the weekend before Xmas 2005. If I had not booked a "hot deal" that was non-refundable advance payment I would have checked out after the first night. The (non-smoking) room was basic, felt dirty, was freezing cold with no in-room heating controls and the showerroom was of the type that had no separate...

We stayed in Richmond Mercure from Nov 19 for 3 nights... well, I expected a lot since our trip was in another Mercure in Berlin which was great, but this hotel is more than 2*, but it could hardly boast 3*, I booked only 3* and 4* for this dream trip to Europe but this hotel desappointed us a little,...

I stayed at this hotel on a business trip for 7 days. For what you pay this hotel offers very poor standard of accommodation and service. I stayed in two different rooms, one really tiny, the other very large but shabbily decorated & furnished, though clean and tidy. Service was`appalling, with only one or two staff making some kind of...

Neighbourhood Profile
Indre By (Inner City)
This is the heart of old town Copenhagen, with its blend of charming old buildings and bold new architecture, broad avenues and tiny streets as well as picturesque canals and a modern harbor. The inner city is home to the Royal Danish Theatre, which consists of three buildings, two of which are new and situated on the harbor front. The streets, squares and venues of the inner city and its surrounding neighborhoods, are alive all year round with everything from jazz festivals to outdoor ice skating rinks and parachuting at the lakes right in the center of the city. This compact area boasts beautiful old castles, tranquil parks, and bustling squares where you can always find a bench to stretch out your legs whenever you need a break.
