Basic hotel but very good for overnight stay. Very communicative hotel and flexible for late check in. Room was spacious, very clean. Breakfast in the morning was good. Staff very friendly and helpful (easy check in/check out and other advice). Yes it is a shame re shared bathroom but hotel is very upfront about it so if you have booked/paid... More

The hotel is situated a bit away from the centre, however within walking distance (30 min walk). Nice area. The entrance and furniture is quite worn. Bathroom and toilet is in the corridor, to be shared with other guests. Spacious room but narrow bed. During my stay there was renovation of the facade going on and the plastic covers just... More

Basic hotel in a very nice neighborhood of Copenhagen (Osterbro). Basic facilities, but the place is absolutely fine for a short staying (we stayed 5 nights). Shame about the shared bathroom, otherwise the hotel would be perfect.

After a 10 hour flight from San Francisco, it was great to get to the Hotel Rye (pronounced "Ru") prior to taking a cruise. My sister and I had about 24 hours before we had to embark on the ship, so not much time to sightsee and lots of jet lag. Innkeeper Clemmens answered the buzzer and then greeted us... More

Nice place with helpful staff! IT is central and to a resonable price. You can park your bike in the back yard. The also have nikkes for rent. The style is retro 1950 and simple. Good and healthy, organic.

This is a nice, small hotel located close enough to Nørrebro, but maye not close enough to the main train station. Still, the rooms are perfect, simple, clean, nicely decorated. The staff is helpful, the food is great. We loved staying at Hotel Rye in a quiet Copenhagen street.

I stayed the night at the Rye Hotel right before my embarkation on a cruise around the Baltic Sea. My room had shared bathrooms, no elevator service, and no air conditioning, but I knew that beforehand and didn't care. I just needed a place for the night so I can board the ship the next day after lunch. And despite... More

Staff was very friendly & wonderful. You do share bathrooms with other guests. There is no elevator & no air conditioning. Once we got in the room & opened the windows -it did cool down nicely. Showers can do with a makeover. Price can be a bit cheaper. For the same price I got a large double room in Malmo with access to free sauna. Friendly staff. Yummy breakfast. Homey atmosphere. Guests can make tea/coffee throughout the stay in the breakfast room. Good public transport connections. Variety of TV channels.

The staff are so friendly there! Hotel Rye is very cozy and feels like a home away from home. The breakfast is delicious and the place is clean and quiet. It is just a 2 minute walk from a bus terminal.

 of 5 bubbles 948ingridf, 20 May 2015 | Read review
“The back of the hotel is a bit quieter because of the garden. At the front there is a road, which is slightly noisier. But it is a road with very little traffic so not a real problem.”

“Would say that hotel is generally very quiet, if you really must avoid what is normal street noise in the morning then you could request a room facing the garden side.”
