Copenhagen is an expensive city for accommodation (and a lot of other things). The Hotel Loeven is well located just a few blocks from the train station and about a 10 min walk to the pedestrian street/mall. The rooms are very basic, but very clean and warm. There is also a communal kitchen and fridge. All in all, the Loeven...

Hotel Loeven is situated on one of the main streets of Copenhagen. The reception is located on the first floor with most rooms on the second floor. This can be difficult if you have luggage as there is no elevator. Breakfast is not provided at the hotel which is another drawback. The room we were given was a very large...

Closely located to the central station, this hotel was ideal for us as we were entering and exiting Copenhagen by train. Very basic rooms with single beds only, linen was surprisingly ok. Bathroom is a wet room but decent shower. A little loud on the exterior streets, especially on weekends. Helpful reception staff complete with maps and advice on places...

This is a really great hotel, a proper bargain when you compare it in price to other hotels in the city. Don't go there expecting too much - there is just a room, a comfy bed, a wardrobe and a kitchen downstairs to make breakfast. I think reception is only open 1pm til 8pm or something like that. Location is...

I stayed here with 2 friends in a private room with bathroom. The bathroom is actually a wet room (the shower is not separate), so the entire room gets wet when you take a shower. Towels were changed daily, but you do have to make your own bed. A mini fridge in the room was nice, and the guest kitchen...

I made a reservation for 2 nights from Loeven Hotel via Hostelbookers. Hostelbookers webside informes that we have to contact for late check in. So I send an e mail to the Hotel and informed them our late check in. When I arrived the Hotel at 3:30 a.m. There was nobody there. Also I called them via telephone. There was...

Travelled to Copenhagen on 20 March for an overnight stay with 29 other people. The hotel is super easy to find from the Central Train Station. It is an easy walk to the Hard Rock Cafe and to the Stroget shopping street. The location was just fine with some 7-11's nearby to grab some snacks & breakfast. We had five...

During the UNFCC meetings, hotel rooms in Copenhagen were very scarce. I was fortunate to find a single in the Loeven at 50 euro a night. The listing was honest -- the room was described as very small, with a bathroom on the hallway. This was probably the worst room in the hotel. The proprietor apologized on check in and...

Indre By (Inner City)
This is the heart of old town Copenhagen, with its blend of charming old buildings and bold new architecture, broad avenues and tiny streets as well as picturesque canals and a modern harbor. The inner city is home to the Royal Danish Theatre, which consists of three buildings, two of which are new and situated on the harbor front. The streets, squares and venues of the inner city and its surrounding neighborhoods, are alive all year round with everything from jazz festivals to outdoor ice skating rinks and parachuting at the lakes right in the center of the city. This compact area boasts beautiful old castles, tranquil parks, and bustling squares where you can always find a bench to stretch out your legs whenever you need a break.
