The hotel itself is very lovely, but the air conditioner was out of order while we stayed so it's hot and we had to keep the windows and door open for a while. The staff was very friendly and helpful when I asked for ice to cool our drinks. The hotel is a bit far if your activities are all...

Thank you for your positive review. We are sorry about the air con situation, but from next week a complete new systemet is installed. Instead of taking the train to the centre of Copenhagen, you can also hop on bus no. 11A just outside . It only takes 5 min to the centre. Thank you for mentioning our staff and...

We stayed for a long weekend in a superior room which had a view overlooking the water - in my opinion worth the extra money as it was lovely to see it from lying in bed too! The rooms are nice and modern with good facilities, and there is a very peaceful atmosphere within the hotel. We stayed here on...

Stayed at the Hotel Copenhagen Island for a city break, nearest S-tog station is Dybbolbro (5 min walk). Unfortunately the airport train does not stop here, so you have to go to Central station, change trains and come back one stop! The hotel is about a 10 minute walk from the city centre along a busy and noisy road. Choose...

A completely new AC system is being installed at the moment. At your next visit we will recommend a walk along the beuatifull waterfront. We hope to...

My selection of hotel was based on Tripadvisor ratings. I can recommend this place, if you want a nice and modern hotel with a good location. Train station and a big shopping mall are very near. The airconditioning could have been better because it was about + 30 C during daytime, that made the room quite hot. The staff was...

This is my client's "go-to" hotel, and for business travel is appropriate. The rooms are small but very clean and well appointed. Breakfast is great - usually crowded - so get there early. Internet connection is strong and the hotel is well suited for business travel.

Thank you very much for your feedback. I am very sorry for the situation concerning our air-conditioning which suddenly broke down in the end of July. Unfortunately it could not be fixed, therefore we are installing a completely new aircooling system at the moment. We hope to see you again soon and we are looking forward to offer you a...

Nice and modern hotel. The room was small but clean. The breakfast was very good and the personnel polite. The service was good. The location is nice with beautiful view and easy access to the city center (only one stop by train).

Good higher class modern hotel, can recommend. Rooms spacious, good view above the water, nice breakfast buffet. Good for both business and pleasure. It's next to a shopping mall in the business district of the city. To get to the city center you either have to walk 15 minutes or take the train.

Staying in Inner Vesterbro

Neighbourhood Profile
Inner Vesterbro
This neighbourhood is home to Tivoli Gardens, a world famous amusement park and beautiful garden always worth a visit. Just west of Tivoli, you’ll find Copenhagen Central Station, from where you can reach just about every part of Denmark within 5 or 6 hours, or you can reach Copenhagen Airport in less than 15 minutes. Next to the Central Station, you’re in the middle of “old” Vesterbro, where several cultures and hundreds of languages are spoken in an area not more than one square mile. This neighbourhood is considered one of the most trendy places to live in and to visit in Copenhagen. For a real treat, visit Kødbyen ("meat town"), home to several restaurants, cafés and nightclubs, all within a short walk of each other.
