Impressive building, good-sized rooms and great breakfast. I would recommend requesting a waterfront room (the other side is a main road). Bathrooms have a window into them from the bedrooms which doesn't allow for a lot of privacy if you travelling as a couple. It's a little further away from the main attractions (which in Copenhagen terms means a 10...

Stayed two nights over the weekend with my daughter in a superior room overlooking the water. Hotel is clean and modern and the breakfast was excellent (although it does get a little crowded later on which means you may have to hunt down cutlery and crockery). Note some reviews refer to the distance of the hotel from the centre -...

We stayed here for a weekend having booked a package with voyage prive. We arrived around midnight on the Friday evening and had a very swift check in. We went to the bar and had a couple of drinks before it closed at 1 am. The bar tender was a very interesting character to chat to. Our room was on...

Been there for 3 nights. We were lucky enough to get sunny days everyday which made our lake view look even more breathtaking. Got the package which included breakfast, where is located in a glass room with a wonderful view of the harbour. Yummy food, no complaints. Staff was friendly and efficient at all times, had a minor issue about...

Excellent modern hotel for a short break in Copenhagen with easy transport links by bus and train to all local attractions and places of interest. A varied and substantial breakfast set us up for visits by train to Helsingor and Roskilde, a touch of Hamlet followed by a Viking treat. In Copenhagen a harbour tour is a must with lunch...

Fairly standard 4 star hotel complete with identical generic 'art' prints in all communal areas and rooms. Rooms clean and comfortable but a bit small. Room safe was tiny - could not fit laptop nor iPad in it. Paid extra 300 DKK to upgrade room to one with a water view and a small balcony - didn't fancy the standard...

My husband and I just stayed at this hotel a few weeks ago, and we loved it! The room was super clean and spacious, we had a great view of the water, and the staff was so friendly and resourceful. They were accommodating as well. The location is a few blocks form Tivoli gardens and Christiansborg Palace. Highly recommend!!

On arrival you can tell this is a popular hotel for big groups and business travellers/conferences. The hotel is clean, compact and generally pretty nice. Its situated by the water and very close to the mall. I can imagine in the summer this would have been a perfect stay! We got lucky... the weather was sunshine during our stay but...

We stayed at the hotel for three nights during February half term with our two sons (5 & 8). We had two rooms side by side. The Reception staff could not have been more friendly and helpful, speaking excellent English. Our bedrooms were immaculate, very modern with good amenities. The high sloping ceiling with huge windows made up for the...

Staying in Inner Vesterbro

Neighbourhood Profile
Inner Vesterbro
This neighbourhood is home to Tivoli Gardens, a world famous amusement park and beautiful garden always worth a visit. Just west of Tivoli, you’ll find Copenhagen Central Station, from where you can reach just about every part of Denmark within 5 or 6 hours, or you can reach Copenhagen Airport in less than 15 minutes. Next to the Central Station, you’re in the middle of “old” Vesterbro, where several cultures and hundreds of languages are spoken in an area not more than one square mile. This neighbourhood is considered one of the most trendy places to live in and to visit in Copenhagen. For a real treat, visit Kødbyen ("meat town"), home to several restaurants, cafés and nightclubs, all within a short walk of each other.
