I stayed three nights here and it was a good place to be to see Copenhagen. There are lovely restaurants, bars and coffee shops close by and it is not a long walk to Tivoli and the Central Railway station. The hotel itself is functional but my room was tiny - had to leave the bathroom door open to use...

I was traveling alone so booked a single room. Descriptions are accurate and room was clean and functional but yes very small. The room was perfect for someone who just wants to spend most of their time out and about exploring. Wifi is an additional charge.

This is a small hotel just in Frederiksberg which is technically a posh suburb of Copenhagen but 1 km from the main train station. Easy to get to the tourist attractions but surrounded by local shops and restaurants which were more interesting since I prefer to feel local when I travel for pleasure. The rooms are small so if you...

Spent four days in Copenhagen towards the end of a long trip. City is wonderful! Very easy to get around and amazingly liveable. Everyone we met was friendly and helpful. Hotel is well located to center of city as well as the large park in Fredericksburg. Room was not huge but pretty much average for a European city. Bathroom was...

Nice little hotel but don't expect a modern, business hotel. The rooms were very small (by North America standards) and the bathroom was tiny. I could barely extend my arms for a proper shower! The mattresses were very thin and felt more like futons than proper mattresses. By Copenhagen standards, I suppose this is one of the better hotels in...

Good hotel at a good location, everything in town was in walking distance. The hotel staff was very nice and helpful and even offered us a free upgrade to a suite. The rooms were lovely and clean with a good view from the balcony. Would definitely recommend this place

The location suited us well - it's on the edge of a residential, tree lined and attractive street, so quiet, but very close to main road, transport and lots of shops. A nearby small street had a street market on Saturday and boasted two very agreeable restaurants. The room was not large, but clean and comfortable with all the basics....

Very nice hotel for week-long solo stay before cruise. My single room was small, as expected, but not so small that I couldn't move around comfortably with three suitcases. My room location was quiet and very private. Staff was lovely and always ready to help with any request. I especially liked that it was on a quiet street in a...

For a short stay in Copenhagen, I picked a centrally located hotel. Coming here, I was honestly quite surprised, this is absolutely not a cheap hotel, but premises are quite basic and rooms are very simple and in my opinion does not really live up to such an extended price. A hotel that cost me more than 2500 NOK for...

You need 10-15' walk to the Central station; breakfast is tasty and well-presented; all hotel people were extremely kind but the room was extremely small with a small step to get into the rest room which was 'encapsulated' in the room. Bad luck, the weather in Copenhagen was above any expectation hot for this period of the year and there...

Staying in Frederiksberg

Neighbourhood Profile
Frederiksberg
Located between Noerrebro and Vesterbro you’ll find Frederiksberg, which is actually a municipality in itself but completely surrounded by Copenhagen. Here there are several fine theaters, from the experimental to the great Det Ny Teater (The New Theater) which specializes in transcribing the great London and New York musicals into Danish, and has done so for several years with huge success. In Frederiksberg you’ll find Denmark’s most beautiful (and expensive) city villas. These 4-5 square miles form the Beverly Hills of Copenhagen. Here you’ll also find Frederiksberg Have (Garden) which sports huge outdoor concerts, from classical to electronic dance music. To top it off, dining options range from cozy family restaurants to some of the area’s most trendy cafés.
