A lovely friendly little hotel a brief walk from the main central station. The staff were really friendly and chatty, they were always helpful when asked for directions etc. The rooms are small, but very clean. The breakfast was typical Scandanavian fare. Free hot drinks were available in reception. The hotel is ideal to use as a base when exploring...

This art nouveau style hotel was ideal for a short break in Copenhagen. We had a standard double room, recently decorated with a nicely fitted out bathroom (just a shower). It looked over the side courtyard and was really quiet, despite being on a busy street. it was great to have free fresh tea and coffee and Danish pastries in...

This is most definitely a budget hotel. Pros - The staff were really friendly with excellent English. Free coffee, cakes and fruit were available in the small seating area beside reception. There was plenty of info available for things to do in Copenhagen. The breakfast was very pleasant and fresh. The hotels location is very central. Room was clean with...

Great location not too far a walk to the main train station and Tivoli gardens etc. with plenty of cafes/eateries near by. I travelled with my family - husband, 2 year old daughter and my parents and we enjoyed our stay here. Granted the rooms are quite small and basic but more than adequate for us and nice and clean...

Small family-run hotel with very friendly reception and excellent location; close to public transportation, and yet very quiet. The rooms are nothing fancy, but clean and I had a good nights sleep. Breakfast is in the basement, and is quite basic. WiFi worked well. I will probably chose to stay here next time on business in Copenhagen !

We travelled as a family with two adults and a teenager. The location of the hotel was great for us and just a short walk from the main train station with buses nearby. We appreciated that the triple room was actually more like a double bedroom with a separate area with the single bed and a desk, and the bathroom,...

The hotel is admirably located, close to numerous restaurants and within easy walking distance of all the major sites. Incredibly quiet with all rooms facing onto a courtyard, with an unusually plentiful breakfast including delicious home made breads. The Savoy Hotel is housed in the Art Noveau style Lovenborg building and is of architectural and cultural significance. It is said to contain Denmark's first lift. This hotel mixes the original Art Noveau architecture and fixtures with the simplicity of modern Scandinavian design. The pendant lighting and framed photography make walking through the hotel a pleasure. The staff are...

Neighbourhood Profile
Indre By (Inner City)
This is the heart of old town Copenhagen, with its blend of charming old buildings and bold new architecture, broad avenues and tiny streets as well as picturesque canals and a modern harbor. The inner city is home to the Royal Danish Theatre, which consists of three buildings, two of which are new and situated on the harbor front. The streets, squares and venues of the inner city and its surrounding neighborhoods, are alive all year round with everything from jazz festivals to outdoor ice skating rinks and parachuting at the lakes right in the center of the city. This compact area boasts beautiful old castles, tranquil parks, and bustling squares where you can always find a bench to stretch out your legs whenever you need a break.
