My wife and I decided that we would enjoy a long weekend in Copenhagen for our honeymoon. I chose Hotel Kong Arthur when booking our trip and I don't think I could have selected a better hotel. Friendly, welcoming staff, super room, in a central location with all the attractions of the city a stroll away. Recommended to all

This is good hotel in central location. Rooms are not so big but clean and quiet. Staff was friendly and kind. They have happy hour and serve free glass of wine in lobby from 5pm till 6 pm. Center is 10 minutes walk from hotel.

We loved this hotel. I would have given hotel a rating of 4, but the employees were so friendly and helful. They were always quick to respond and with smiles. The property is located a little bit off the main street is its quite but just away fronm the hustle and bustle. It's a good mix of the old and...

The Hotel Kong is a very comfortable, friendly hotel situated in a quiet area but only a short taxi ride to anywhere central. Our rooms were very spacious so two sharing were not always falling over each other. The hotel has two restaurants, a spa with a gym, for which you had to pay. We only used the Italian restaurant...

Location: Excellent, just in front of the lakes and a walking distance from Copenhagen hallmarks. Right now it suffers from a remodelation for a building next door so taxi drop-offs and pick ups are somewhat problematic. Lobby-general areas: Well kept, medieval themed (shields, armors, antique furniture, etc) but the signaling is lacking, is really easy to get lost in your...

Dear David Thank you very much for your review. We are really happy to learn that you over all enjoyed it here. We are so sorry that you had trouble finding your way around. You are right, the layout can be somewhat confusing because the hotel is situated in 4 classic Copenhagen city houses, which are build together. Next time...

This hotel is tucked away in a cul de sac just off the beaten track. This hotel is very friendly and within easy walking distance of the centre of town. Great for a break with nice furnishings and very friendly staff. It has a spa but I did go in. Building work was going on out front but didn't impact...

I checked in early in the morning. I got a room immediately, and a free breakfast. Very good location near Nörreport metro, and train stations and bus stops. It was easy to visit DTU. Nicea nd quite hotel.

Room was reasonable size but not well presented in either decor or furniture. Bathroom had a bad smell. Hotel restaurants though accessed via a disorganised courtyard were very good. Expected 4 star standard but the hotel fell quite a long way short

Dear Peter We are so sorry that you didn’t like it here. Perhaps our style just isn’t your style. We are well aware that we can’t be of everybody's taste. Anyway we will ask our technicians to go through the bathrooms drains an extra time, urgently. Kind regards Marie Thyssen / Hotel Kong Arthur

Stayed for 4 nights earlier this month and was impressed. Comfortable reception area and of course cosy hour and a free glass of wine. Dear Travelon Great that you in many ways appreciated our hotel! Regarding Cozy Hour: It's a daily event at 5pm in the afternoon, where we offer a drink and an opportunity for our guests to socialize. Sometimes it may be a glass of red wine, but it could be eg. an organic beer also or perhaps a cup of tea....

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Hotel Kong Arthur is situated right between the beautiful inner lakes of Copenhagen and the buzzing downtown, only 15 min. from the airport by metro. The style is exclusive and modern with a hint of medieval - we call it a mix of rustic and chic. The atmosphere is cozy and informal: A lit fireplace, comfy sofas, pillows in the window sill, a stack of books on the shelves, beautiful courtyards adorned with green plants, cobbles and a unique peacefulness. ... more   less
