I booked two nights at this hotel following a Baltic Sea cruise. Being a strong fan of the Marriott brand, I was a bit let down - no room upgrade (although I did gain Executive Lounge access), too many children running around in said Lounge,...More
This hotel benefits from a great location, well appointed rooms.
Here's the kicker and sadly so often the case.......the staff were 99.9% fantastic.
Attentive check in staff even if she didn't get my English sense of humour.
Concierge and bell desk again very attentive, helpful...More

Great hotel, right by the river. The view from the room is hard to beat. The location was also pretty convenient for sightseeing, dining and shopping though we often used taxies and bus to get there instead of walking.

We really loved this hotel - It is quite centrally located - right down the street from central station and on the hop on/hop off bus route, so it is easy to get anywhere you need to go. There is also a very nice shopping...More
My wife and I were traveling with our 11 year old daughter to a soccer competition in Gothenburg, and decided to make a one-night stopover to see Copenhagen en route. We were lucky enough to arrive on arguably the most gorgeous day of the spotty...More

This neighbourhood is home to Tivoli Gardens, a world famous amusement park and beautiful garden always worth a visit. Just west of Tivoli, you’ll find Copenhagen Central Station, from where you can reach just about every part of Denmark within 5 or 6 hours, or you can reach Copenhagen Airport in less than 15 minutes. Next to the Central Station, you’re in the middle of “old” Vesterbro, where several cultures and
hundreds of languages are spoken in an area not more than one square mile. This neighbourhood is considered one of the most trendy places to live in and to visit in Copenhagen. For a real treat, visit Kødbyen ("meat town"), home to several restaurants, cafés and nightclubs, all within a short walk of each other.

There isn't much dining or shopping in the immediate neighborhood. It is a relatively short walk to Tivoli and the central train station (10 minutes), and there are loads of dining and shopping opportunities near there.
