We stayed for one night in January 2015. The hotel has reasonably priced parking (for central Copenhagen) close by, although not at a private/secure site. As far as we looked, this hotel is one of the only ones in central Copenhagen with parking like this. The neighbourhood is very nice for restaurants, shops and experiencing the city. It's close to...

My boyfriend and I stayed here for 3 nights in January 2015 for a birthday holiday. We a chose a "Larger" room, which is Ibsens' standard double. I want to get my main issue out the way first - Ibsens' rooms look much nicer in the photographs on the website than they are in real life. The best thing about...

We stayed there for 2 nights on a business/tourist combined trip. Room was pleasant, although a bit different with a small room off the main room that was a few steps down. Looked over the courtyard, so could see right into the kitchen. Was entertaining at times. Free wine for happy hour. Could easily walk a couple of blocks to...

The hotel is really easy to reach from the airport or Hovedbanegården by metro or S-train to Nørreport. The rooms are nordic in style; spacious and cool. The lounge is great. We did not try any of the resturants in the hotel. The location is excellent for food, drinks and shopping. The price is ok.

We stayed here for a few days while visiting the city. On the web all the rooms looked great, with nice design furniture etc. But when we arrived I was a bit dissappointed about the rooms. The were okay but not what we expected. Especially the bathroom, towels and amenties were dissappointing.

Stayed in Ibsens on business a few days including a weekend. Has two different rooms, which were both fine though not necessarily special. Staff were friendly and I saw them dealing professionally with the complaints of intercontinental travellers from the west who seemingly could not fit Danish beds due to a history of enlarging food consumption. Coming to food, the...

We picked the Ibsens Hotel because it was relatively cheap for Copenhagen. The room was small but clean. The hotel is in a great location, especially handy for Torvehallerne but really not far from anywhere in the city. The staff were friendly and eager to help. Unfortunately it was very very loud outside on one of the nights.

Chose Ibsen's hotel as the price for a large room was great for the time of year and late booking. We couldn't have chosen a better place to stay for our first time in Copenhagen. The area the hotel is situated in is beautiful. Just over the road from the main shopping district and just a short walk to the...

The Danes are incredibly friendly. And although the Ibsens is not a fancy hotel by any means, the courteous staff was what made things great about staying at this property. Let's get to the most important part first: there's a complimentary happy hour from 5:00–6:00pm! I'm not a "drinker" per se, but it was very nice to hang out in...

It's not a gorgeous hotel at all. But it's the best hotel if you want to know about copenhagen without spending so much for your sleep. The nearest station is a terminal where you start your journey in copenhagen. Indeed you need to start from the central station if you go to other city in denmark but the local trains...
