Great location does not do it alone! The hotel is old and need renovation soon. The rooms are very small and the bathrooms are in poor condition (broken sanitation, leaking pipes). Furniture is supposed to look "antique" but chairs are just old and not comfortable at all. The breakfast room is too crowded and you miss a basic breakfast ingredient:...

I stayed 3 night in this hotel on a business trip. My single room was small and at the end of a complex corridor, no views whatsoever. The sounds from the neighboring rooms could be heard clearly. Bathroom was not that clean and the shower dripped all day long. However, the location is wonderful, close to shopping street stroget and...

This is a pretty standard hotel, near Kongens Nytorv, in a quiet back street. It's a good bed & breakfast, but no more than that. The room we had was small and had a backyard view. The bathroom was small but clean. The only real disadvantage was the usual lack of electricity sockets, we had to unplug the TV and...

The location of the Hotel Opera was terrific and within walking distance to the beautiful Harbor town of Nyhavn, the Stroget, public transportation and other great sites. We really enjoyed the great breakfast included in our rate and the staff was always helpful and pleasant. Our double bed room was small but well kept and comfortable. The rates really made our...

The location of the hotel is second to none. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast very good. Rooms in dire need of redecoration. On the other hand, guests should not spend too much time in their room.

I have stayed here a few times. It's a nice hotel but a bit like staying in your grandmas house- furnished circa 1940. The staff is really nice and accomidating. Rooms are small but The beds are comfy, once you go thru the maze to get to your room. Get a room in back, although its a side street it's...

Great location, 5 minutes from metro station, walking clockwise around the theatre across from The Magasin du Nord department store. 4 minutes walking to Nyhavn. Very very nice breakfast, despite rather cold coffee. Our room was on the top floor and was rather crapy, uneven floor, twin beds, bare minimal bathroom. Heating system barely sufficient, had to request extra blankets.

The hotel is located next to Kongens Nytorv in Nyhavn, close to the Royal Theater, new port and the finest shopping streets in Copenhagen. It is fast to reach from Kastrup airport either by taxi or by metro. Unfortunately the location is the best asset of the hotel. It feels it is an old place which needs some redecoration. Getting...

I come often in Copenhagen for business, and most of the times I stay at this hotel. It is VERY conveniently located, very close to Strøget, Nyhavn, and Kongens Nytorv metro station. You can reach it from the airport in 20 minutes. Moreover, the hotel is very quiet, and with a good service. The breakfast is good enough, although it...

A very old and worn hotel with tiny tiny overpriced rooms. Big problem with soundproofing with creaking floors etc. Friendly staff helps, but as there are similar lower priced oldish hotels in the area there is no reason to stay here. Except maybe one;their wifi is very good and fast.
