We had a family room, which is in fact two rooms with a connecting door. The rooms are small and somewhat resemble a ship's cabin. Despite their small size, the rooms have everything you need for a comfortable short stay. Fixtures and fittings are modern and well-designed. We had breakfast there one morning - 60 DKK per adult, 30 DKK...

Visited Copenhagen for business, but managed to see a bit of the city too due to the perfect location of the hotel. Very clean rooms! mine was overlooking to the station, but windows were perfectly isolating. Comfy bed

The hotel is under two years old and is lovely and modern in design. Its great value for money. The stairs are right by the lifts so its easy to walk up if you don’t want to take the lift. The room is small but all the space is used well. Would be a problem if you had large suitcases...

We stayed at this hotel last July. It was a bit of a walk from the train station with luggage but not bad. We were thoroughly impressed by the usage of space. Our room was tiny but the furniture and space were so well utilized. It reminded us of Ikea. So utilitarian. We were going on a cruise so this...

We stayed here for 4 nights with 2 children and as all the rooms are the same we got sharing rooms (open door in the middle). The rooms are really VERY small but have all the standard comfort that you need. Nice breakfast (breadrolls, ham, cheese, jam, cereals, coffee, tea, juice). Free wifi! It's a 15 minute walk to the...

We were staying at the sister hotel (Tivoli) and decided to stay an extra day. Tivoli could not accomodate us for another night and recommended Wakeup Copenhagen. This hotel is good for a single traveler staying one night. My husband paid extra for a room with a view and we were given a room overlooking the roof. The room is...

Wakeup is a 2 star hotel within easy walking distance of all Copenhagen has to offer. It is clean and tidy, plain and simple, and the rooms although small have all you need for a good night's sleep. For the price you can't beat it and we would go back. we even got parked free outside the hotel!

I stayed here for one night prior to my job interview in Copenhagen. The hotel is perfectly located in the heart of the city, walking distance from the Central Station. People at the front desk are decent enough and trying hard to help with anything you need. Lobby bar is a good enough place to buy sandwiches (especially the one...

Staying in Inner Vesterbro

Neighbourhood Profile
Inner Vesterbro
This neighbourhood is home to Tivoli Gardens, a world famous amusement park and beautiful garden always worth a visit. Just west of Tivoli, you’ll find Copenhagen Central Station, from where you can reach just about every part of Denmark within 5 or 6 hours, or you can reach Copenhagen Airport in less than 15 minutes. Next to the Central Station, you’re in the middle of “old” Vesterbro, where several cultures and hundreds of languages are spoken in an area not more than one square mile. This neighbourhood is considered one of the most trendy places to live in and to visit in Copenhagen. For a real treat, visit Kødbyen ("meat town"), home to several restaurants, cafés and nightclubs, all within a short walk of each other.
