Mrs. Blue considers butter to be it's own Food Group - and butter is practically a religion in the Blue household - a day without butter would truly be a day without sunshine... and there is no better butter anywhere on the planet than Denmark (I don't know what they do to their cows or how they do it -...

Stayed one night in early December 2014. The location of the hotel is both the good news and the bad news. It's across the street from the central rail station, which is good. The good/bad news is that's actually on the edge of Tivoli Gardens. The front entrance is often blocked by people lined up to get into Tivoli, and...

The Hotel is really a nice place to stay at. The hotel from the outside is nothing special until you step into the wonderful Nimb "world" hotel. I highly recommend this place if you looking for something chic, tasteful and cozy. The rooms are completely different decorated and we got one room located on the second floor with views of...

This was our second visit to Nimb in Copenhagen. And once more we were very impressed by both the friendly and perfect service and the quality and elegance of the premises. We stayed two nights in a junior suite with nice view to the Tivoli. As a part of the stay we had free tickets to the Tivoli and all...

I can't rave about this hotel enough. The staff were nothing short of fabulous, well turned out and very attentive. Room was incredibly comfortable. The boyfriend absolutely fell in love with the TV (and to my bemusement is buying one). Breakfast was wonderfully laid out....a very tasty spread. The decor of the bar was incredibly stylish. 15 minutess by train...

As we were arriving by private car it was initially disconcerting to find the entrance was quite difficult to spot and there was nowhere to pull in and park in order to unload; you stopped at the side of a busy 3 lane road and blocked a lane for a while. Still, no one seemed to fussed and the valet...

This is my first time to visit Copenhagen. I originally booked to stay at Bella Sky Cromwell for 2 nights. However, we need to extend our time in Norway to see the northern lights and in turn shorten our time in Copenhagen to 2 days/ 1 night only, so we cancel the previous booking adhoc and choose another hotel in...

Stayed in this hotel in oct. Room was fantastic. B&O A8. Fireplace. Huge toilet with a couple bathtub. If you plan a whole day to Tivoli, this is the best hotel you can get where you can just head back and recharge for an hour and go back into the park without any hassle. Unfortunately, it had a fatal flaw....

Amazing, amazing, amazing hotel. Beautiful room, excellent staff & service, and wonderful overall stay. They do a great job at treating you like a valued guest, and providing high standard, attentive service. Of course, the price of the room (~$500 per night) was steep. But I felt like it was worth it. My family regularly checks into 5-star hotels when...

I really liked our stay, but when paying more than 400 Euro per night for the smallest room I would expect that everything is perfect. I've stayed at luxury hotels across the world and what surprised me at Nimb Hotel when I compare with previous experiences is that we had noise coming from the street (can easily be fixed), the...

Staying in Inner Vesterbro

Neighbourhood Profile
Inner Vesterbro
This neighbourhood is home to Tivoli Gardens, a world famous amusement park and beautiful garden always worth a visit. Just west of Tivoli, you’ll find Copenhagen Central Station, from where you can reach just about every part of Denmark within 5 or 6 hours, or you can reach Copenhagen Airport in less than 15 minutes. Next to the Central Station, you’re in the middle of “old” Vesterbro, where several cultures and hundreds of languages are spoken in an area not more than one square mile. This neighbourhood is considered one of the most trendy places to live in and to visit in Copenhagen. For a real treat, visit Kødbyen ("meat town"), home to several restaurants, cafés and nightclubs, all within a short walk of each other.
