Philippos Hotel, located in down-town area, a few minutes walking distance from the port, the bus and the railway station, clean rooms and friendly staff.
This is a 2 star hotel in Volos city! If you want a cheap and descent stay for a few nights it would be a good choice. The rooms are the same as before, except the rennovated bathrooms and doors. New breakfast area and bigger variety than before but still a really simple one. +Pet friendly is a plus for me... +Really good and kind staff. +Good price for its amenities. -Needs new matresses and pillows. -Needs a parking (maybe)

Stayed there for one night. The hotel is very very close to the harbour and tsipouradika of Volos. We had a room in a top floor with view to Pelion. Nice comfy bed, small fridge, TV, wifi. Super soft bath towels, very clean hotel. The people at the reception very helpful and friendly. The only disadvantage is the decoration. It is a very old hotel and seems like coming out of a '60s movie. Needs redecoration and renovation, but I would recommend it for a short stay.

A good place to stay in Volos. It is centrally located, close to the main market street, and the seashore, the latter is lovely to stroll along and is lined with great places to eat. Very helpful staff, great breakfast, very clean. Will definitely stay there again.

From check-in to hotel staff and room, everything was perfect. It is a cheap hotel located in the city center. I spent a week there. The hotel is located on the Volos port which is at walking distance.

It's a cheap option in the city center. If you have a room with a mountain view you will be lucky. Ask for that. The roo. S are OK. I had some problem with the A/C and they changed me room immediately. Breakfast is fine. Descent hotel and value for money!

Good breakfast considering it was a Continental Breakfast. Very clean hotel in good location. Our only complaint was that cigarette smoking did happen at times in the lobby that got up into the breakfast room.

Not the first time we have stayed here. Very warm welcome from Philippos, the night manager - even after midnight. Excellent location, clean and easy. Not expensive - we would have happily stayed longer.

The customer service is wonderful, the staff is very friendly and the gentleman at the reception desk spoke good English. The location is really favorable, and there is so much to see and do around this scenic part of Volos. There is a healthy nightlife in this festive area of the city for the fun seekers, otherwise expect some residual background noise at times from the street. The price was good, the room was cozy, the bed was comfy and it came with a small refrigerator and air conditioner. The breakfast was yummy and had the essentials covered and I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone passing thru the region :) Also they don't have exclusive parking here, but it's a simple matter of finding a parking spot (there is a parking lot right next to the hotel) and going to the Executive Kiosk one block down the street and purchasing an inexpensive parking pass for your stay.…

All in all it worthed its money. Middle-to -cheap range of accommodation , centrally located with very friendly personnel, municipaly park very close for your car and free-of-charge, clean rooms but absolutely basic (just like the breaksfast..very but very basic). The abswnce of carpet in the rooms was hgighly appreciated along with the fact that the radiation was on and they also give you the chance for an air conditioning in case you need a warmer room. Everything (coffee, restaurants etc) is exactly on your feet!
