Just returned after a 2 week stay at the Alkyon. Like many have said location is great. We upgraded to a room with sea view 30 euros per night. We were in room 301 which had a fairly good view. However the rooms further along had the best views, when it rained the water from the other balconies run down...

Have stayed at the Alkyon many times over the years, and this was our third consecutive visit. The hotel has made improvements each time we have been, there are a lot of rooms and refurbishment takes time. Kiki and Georgina, as well as the rest of the staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are cleaned every day, with...

We were moved to this hotel and was only notified 2 weeks before travel, the hotel is in a good location but that is about it, it is a very basic tired run down hotel, we were placed in a lower ground room with no view and had an odd smell, we asked for an exchange to a higher floor...

It never ceases to amaze me. Kiki is a gem and so is Georgina. This family run hotel improves every year. I would not stay...

The hotel is rated as 2/3 star and I think it is good for the rating. The view from the breakfast tables is awesome, looking right over the harbour and down to the rest of the island. Rooms were clean and well furnished for a Greek Hotel. We just had B & B as the towns restaurants are less than...

Spent a week at the Alkyon, was very pleasing in every sense. From cleanliness to very friendly staff. There was an exceptional female member of staff called Kiki, she went out of her way to help us including bookings etc.We first visited the hotel in 1992 and I can honestly say it was a pleasure to revisit and we will definitely be returning.

On our last 4 visits to Skiathos we have stayed at the Alkyon Hotel, the rooms are a good size, well furnished, clean and very comfortable. There is a good maid service. The Alkyon is a medium size family run Hotel, ideally situated on the waterfront near to the New Port, very convenient for everything ! There is a large...
