In a town that overflows with hotels, the Pelops is a cut above. Not just because it is well located, features comfortable, larger than normal rooms and serves a great breakfast. The family that run the place make an extra effort to ensure you enjoy your stay in Olympia.

Well located in the village of Olympia. The rooms are spacious (with a full bath!!!) - a rarity in Greece. Strong wifi. The place is spotlessly clean and the Spiliopoulos family goes out of their way to make sure your stay is pleasant and meaningful. We've been to Olympia many times before, but this was by far the best hotel...

This is a nice and friendly hotel that has been operated by the same family for 50 years. Pride of ownership shows throughout the hotel. The rooms are clean and spacious, with small balconies. We loved the high ceilings and even the quaint 1960's TV which we didn't open but brought back memories. The downstairs lounge and breakfast area is...

We got lost while driving to Olympia so we arrived extremely late to check in (around 1am). The owner was accommodating of our situation, waiting up until we arrived and helping us to settle in. They had some Olympics memorabilia on the wall which he was happy to chat to us about the next day so he obviously didn't hold...

What a great place to stay in Olympia. Right on the edge of the shopping centre, restaurants, cafes, walking distance to the museums and the ancient Olypmic site. Suzanna, our host was super helpful with organising our time which was limited. Also gave us a free pass in Hotel Europa pool and their lovely restaurant. Don't miss the view up...

A nice and small hotel in Old Olympia. The hotel is not directly on the main road, and therefore a bit more calm. Rooms are spacious and calm, and the greek yoghurt at breakfast is really good. You can walk to the Archeological site from the hotel. One of the best features of this hotel is that you can use...

LOVED our stay at Hotel Pelops! Very welcoming and comfortable, with a huge balcony! Most comfortable bed of our entire trip, and the owner has a relationship with the Garden Taverna up the hill, where you should totally go for dinner. Centrally located, comfortable, and welcoming, what more could you want?

We selected this hotel following a recommendation in the DK Eyewitness Travel guide to Greece (Athens & Mainland) and what great recommendation it was. After a hot journey through the mountains of central Pelopennese via Lagkadia (a trip which was worth taking for some of the scenery) the Hotel Pelops was a real breath of fresh air. The rooms were...

The hotel is absolutely beautiful inside and out. The rooms are very clean and modern with wonderful balconies looking out over a quiet neighborhood in Ancient Olympia. All of the interior décor shows the personal touches in every corner. The Spiliopoulos family are very gracious and accommodating hosts. The breakfast buffet is very adequate and prepared fresh every morning. We...

Owner and staff were very friendly. We walked in late on a Tuesday and they were able to instantly accommodate the three of us. We were able to check out the room first. We stayed one night and everything was great. Beds were comfortable A/C worked good and wifi was good. Breakfast was delicious and you can see the Olympic...
