This is a very good hotel which could be excellent with a little attention to the bar, pool area and breakfast. I suppose the fact that the bar area was never open added to the peace and quite of the hotel and this was great but we did feel that a final drink with other guests after a meal in...

Due to commitments we went in mid Sept instead of June for the first time. The hotel was the same wonderful place but the clientel was somewhat older as you would expect avoiding the school holidays. The shorter days meant dawn at 7am and earlier evenings. The sun was still the big attraction in the 80s-90s most of the time, one...

This was our first visit to anywhere in Greece. We chose the Gonatas on the advice of our travel agent through Sunvil. The hotel is in a beatiful setting and is a small family run hotel where we were treated like part of the family by Nicky, Mama and Maria who would gladly do anything to please. Our room on...

We absolutely loved this hotel ! I would say probably the best views in Kefalonia (if you get the top floors). You still get an amazing view from the pool area but absolutely spectacular views if on the top floors. The super clean and simple bedrooms were just perfect for what we wanted! The staff are incredible and would help...

Glad we chose the Gonatas Hotel. Family run, simple & in a beautiful quiet location. No screaming scooters or other passing traffic. Fantastic views. Only 10-15 mins walk from Agia Efimia where you'll find plenty of tavernas and a couple of bars - although we found the best place to eat was right across the road from the hotel (Paradise...

Stayed in 2010. Had a restful week. Great family hotel. Stayed on floor level which was a bit basic. Breakfast Mediterranean style which us more than adequate. Felt able to approach personel if needed. Great little bay about 1/4 mile away with restaurants of all type! Also a great little beach across a minor road, Paradise Beach I believe it...

My wife and I stayed in this Hotel for two weeks earlier this month. The staff are lovely and friendly and the rooms kept immaculately clean. The pool is very nice and clean and has enough sunbeds for the guests that choose to use them. Location wise there is a taverna at the bottom of the drive and the centre...
