Stayed 2 days at Mirabello this past October and for the price of $55 euros a night, it was good value. The rooms are small, but have been updated and do the job. The only thing I could comment on is that, they needn of shower curtains in the bathrooms. Cleaning was done everyday and when we left a package...

My wife and I stayed at the Mirabello for the last two nights of our holiday in September this year. Heraklion isn't the most scenic city in Greece (we'd spent the previous week in Hania which is very beautiful) and we only bothered to stay in the city in order to see Knossos and so that we could get back...

I am sorry to say that staying at Mirabello hotel turned into a very unpleasant experience. We booked a room with shower for 60 euros per night (the same amount we paid for a very nice and clean property in Fira, for instance). As soon as we enter the room a bad smell "welcomed" us. We opened immediately the windows...

I was expecting a no-frills hotel when I checked in, but I must admit what I experience was a little below my expectations. Granted, we only stayed a night after arriving in Heraklion in the late evening before departing for Chania. Pros: 1) Pretty close to good eats and the Venetian Port. 2) Reception honored my reservation w/o hesistation even...

Only stayed one night and great budget style hotel.. Location very convienient to town centre and port. Management friendly and helpful. Quiet with clean rooms. Will be even better in few years when the nearby waterfront promenade development is completed.

We stayed in Hotel Mirabello for one night, on a stop over after the ferry from Santorini. It is a fairly basic hotel and a bit dated, but seeing as we checked in late and left early the next morning it was fine. We weren't expecting anything too special having read some of the reviews here, but we disagreed with...

We stayed at the Mirabello Hotel in Heraklion. It was very modern, clean, and in a central location for the bus station, central city, and the port. The owner, Kostas Kamaratakis, is very friendly. He does prefer you book his hotel via his website rather than other web services. He will answer you immediately. We highly recommend this hotel. Irv...

Simple but clean. Our room had a sink basin and separate showers for men and women were down the hall. No A/C but fan was in room and worked well. Non-smoking room but hallways have lingering smoke smell, which was likely from the lobby below. There is an elevator for those who need it. If needed, will store your luggage...

I spent three nights at the Hotel Mirabello and they were all good. The staff are friendly, and helpful with any questions, Even the cleaning lady will give you a smile if you take a minute to notice. The rooms are simple but pleasant and clean, and the bathroom facilities are well maintained (if not brand new). The location can't...

This proprietor-run hotel, centrally located, is ideal for transiting and/or short city visit of Heraklion - say two to three days. It is within easy walking distance of the main sites of the city. It is very well priced, for the facilities it offers. Heartily recommend.
