I love this hotel in the center of everything! It is right next door to the Archeological Museum. 10 to 15 minutes from the airport. Fantastic people working there are ready to help in any way they can. Beautiful breakfast buffet included with your stay! Great restaurant to eat at if you are tired and don't feel like venturing out after a long day of sightseeing. The rooftop pool is amazing! As you can see in my photos! You can walk to the harbor easily to check out the Kastro! There is so much to discover and see in walking distance from the Hotel. I highly recommend it to all who need a comfortable, centrally located place to stay! Oh, there are also Taxi, bus and Car Rental places nearby if you need them! Great shopping and landmarks all within walking distance!

Hotel's Favourite
We arrived at the hotel, on a busy Saturday afternoon, when all the square is filled with young local people going out. The streets where crowded with people and vehicles since the hotel is located right in the city centre. However as soon as we passed the hotel doors, our experience was completely stress free, since our car was picked up by the hotel staff, and everyone in the hotel strived to make our stay ever more pleasant and comfortable. Being a family with small children, they helped us prepare our childerns milk and they provided us with extra bottles of water, free of charge. We stayed at the junior suite, a very well designed and spacious suite, with custom made modern furniture and a comfortable bed. There was plenty of space to enjoy our take out food there, and we also had a pleasant sea view at the north, along with the view of all the departing planes from the airport which enthused our kids. Having such a wonderful time we decided to stay for another day, and after seeing the Museum which is right across the street from the hotel, we enjoyed the pool at the teracce, which is an oasis right in the middle of the city. We left with the most pleasant memories, having been treated like royalty, from a professional and kind hotel staff. We will certainly revisit this hotel when we can!

First off, some of the reviews of this hotel are true: The elevators are small. It's a European hotel, folks. The rooms are not huge. It's a European hotel, folks. The breakfast buffet doesn't look like an American breakfast. It's a European hotel, folks. The excellent location more than makes up for this because these are conditions you'll find throughout your travels. But I had to give this hotel three stars for the bed. It was so hard, it hurt to sit on. Sleeping was like trying to get cozy on a surgery table. I bet there's marble out there with more give than my bed. So after not sleeping for three nights and popping Aleve every morning to help me unbend my aching muscles, this became an actual problem. Still, the location is very, very nice!

It's fine for a business trip. The location is very central, the rooms are clean and comfortable, the roof top bar is pleasant and the staff is very friendly and accommodating. All decently priced. Overall, good value for many.

Stayed here for one night in December 2017 as I had business the next morning. Fine for a business trip, good breakfast, nothing particularly memorable other than the excellent location right on the central square.

Liked the room and roof top bar. The reception was far from our bedroom. The location is ideal for those who want to be in the centre. City lifestyle is what this hotel has to offer. Cafes, restaurants and busy shops surround this hotel and a big square right outside.

Have stayed here several times now and this time I was particularly impressed by how well the staff were following Covid precautions. As usual the breakfasts were excellent and the roof top pool useful as it's quite a way out of Heraklion before you get to the nearest beach.

This old,but almost totally renovated hotel,in the heart of Heraclion city, has only advantages.Exactly opposites,is the famous archeological museum of Creta. From port or the airport, there is the bus station outside the door (10€ the taxi or 1,10€ the bus ticket). In the same bus stop, also for Knossos,Amoudara (the swimming area of the city). From this hotel start the gorgeous old city, vibrant day and night !Is a big hotel, with large rooms, well equipment, all with balconies, there is nice rooftop pool with all day bar and night restaurant and also cafe-restaurant on ground floor. The breakfast is enough good, the most important is the big variety of fresh fruit. And,the most important, all the people of the hotel are kinds, smilings and very helpful.I had early arrival (about 9 the morning) and they offer me gratis the breakfast and the room !!! This is HOSPITALITY. Thanks a lot. I forgot the most important, the price : Very convenient for a central 4star hotel. This period about 70€ the outside double room with breakfast...

Had a one night stay including day use in the "nicest" suite they had available. The receptionist on the night we went to have a look and book the room was extremely polite and attentive. During our stay all the staff were nice, and I must say, the room service was great! Really quick and polite young man. So why the bad rating? During the middle of a pandemic we found a piece of popcorn on our bathroom floor. Not dust, a whole piece of food. If something as simple as the sweeping and mopping can't be done correctly, it makes you wonder what else hasn't been properly cleaned. And that is exactly what I said to the receptionist (not the same as the first one) when we were checking out and his reply was "are you sure YOU didn't eat any popcorn?" Seriously?? Anyway, the balcony also wasn't very clean and the TV was so annoying to use, we couldn't even get it to play music without connecting it to our mobile data as it kept glitching when connected to the Wi-Fi. Seems like they would invest in anything more than the cheapest TV available in the superior suite.

Dear Nadia M, Thank you sincerely for your trust to our property and your very kind comments. We are happy you found so many positive aspects during your stay experience. Allow us though to declare our surprise regarding the pop-corn issue: we have investigated what happened the next day you had the genteelness to refer to the problem and you have admitted that you indeed had some pop-corn consumed in your room, as our maid reminded you that she has withdraw empty package of this product from your bathroom bin. As per the TV, we are also thankful for your remarks, as soon as you have informed us we have bought new apparel for this specific suite, so once again thank you for letting us know. We look forwards welcoming again! Take care and stay safe.
