Arrived on 5th. July immediately we got a warm welcome from the lady owner who said straight away you can have my best room which is no. 4 the only one with a balcony, so we were very pleased with this then her husband even carried our cases up to the room for us, you don't get that in a...

The room was very well appointed being a mixture of 'traditional' and stylish equipment and furniture.Every possible need was catered for and a modest 'welcome pack' provided. The use of the well cared for terrace was a real bonus although with free air-conditioning we could equally have enjoyed eating in the room. The area is quiet, but very convenient for restaurants, shops...

We got off to a bit of a shaky start but everything went uphill (literally and figuratively) from then on! Chania Old Town is full of little narrow alleyways which of course create a fantastic atmosphere at night. However, even with a map and sat nav, it's tricky finding your way around. We drove from the airport but we couldn't...

Pension Eva has five ensuite rooms, tastefully decorated in neutral colours. Its location, steps away from the iconic lighthouse, harbour-front cafes and access to transportation, made it perfect. We found owners friendly and very responsive to our needs. We had booked room 2, equipped with a small kitchenette so we could make a simple breakfast. We'd buy take-out food, and...

This cosy, traditional family old pension is placed in the perfect spot in the Venetian part of the old Chania town: 5 minutes walk from public free parking, right next to many tavernas and street shops, near to everything, yet hidden in a quiet alley so not noisy at night. The rooms are very clean, with a good bathroom and...

Pension Eva was recommended by a friend and we were very happy we accepted his advice. This is not five star luxury, but it is very comfortable, very clean and very friendly and helpful hosts. There were free items in the room on arrival which provided a nice personal touch. We received good advice on places to eat and how...

We stumbled across this little gem during an internet search after being let down at the last minute by the owner of the place we’d originally booked. And, boy, are we glad this happened because we might otherwise never have met the delightful Greek family owners of this perfectly located bolthole in Chania’s Old Town. Whereas some parts of the...

Pension Eva is right in the heart of the Old Town of Chania, very well situated for restaurants, cafes or just strolling along the harbour. The house is Venetian and the rooms are furnished in traditional style. Rooms are comfortable and clean; bins and towels are changed daily and there is a large roof terrace where you can sit, drink...

Pefectly placed in a quiet corner of Chania Old Town, Pension Eva has charming rooms in traditional style above an interesting gift shop. Very comfortable and clean, and with TV, air-con, and wi-fi (though why you'd want to watch TV or surf the net in such a wonderful place, I don't know). Eva and her staff are friendly, welcoming and...
