So close to the Old Town and Harbor. There's also a taxi pickup across the street (a taxi ride is only 5-7€ to the nearby beaches). The housekeeping leaves a new design out of the fresh towels each day on the bed. The free breakfast saved us a lot of money over our stay in Chania but didn't vary much... More

I wish someone would put a "mind your head" sign above the entrance to the breakfast room, to stop anyone over 5 feet 10 inches tall cracking their heads on the top of the doorway. The breakfast was the standard continental/Greek meal, perfectly nice, and plentiful. Reception staff here are always very pleasant. The lift is supposed to accommodate three... More

Our room at the the last floor was large and clean. The bathroom was clean and comfortable as well. Bathrobes are provided. The balcony has a very nice view on Chania, you can see both the sea and montains...perfect for an aperitivo! Our room was a bit hot, but air conditioning is provided. Free wi-fi. The hotel is located at... More

Stayed in this hotel for a week with a group of Hillwalkers, all of whom were pleased with their experience there. Situated close to all amenities on 1866 Square right at the border between the beautiful, though touristy, Old Town and the more modern new part of town, with its many shops and local bars and restaurants. The main tour... More

We went to Chania in June 2016. Based on the reviews we chose to stay at Arkadi Hotel. Definitely this hotel is the best choice to make in Chania. I can definitely sat that there is no other better location in the city, in particular, hotel is near the bus station and bus stop, just 2 minutes walk from the... More

I spent a night at the Arkadi after arriving on an evening flight, and planning on moving on in the morning. The hotel was actually better than I had expected - the room was basic but clean and perfectly functional, the air-con was effective, and breakfast was OK. Not many facilities, but good value for money and centrally located -... More

Rather an old-fashioned Greek hotel, but none the worse for that. Our room was quite large and comfortable. Reception was helpful and breakfast was what you would expect for a hotel of this type. So no complaints and in a very convenient location for Chania. We just stayed for one night, I don't think I would want to spend more... More

A small, well kept hotel central but just out of Chania old town and port so that everything can be visited on foot. The room (family room, 3 single beds) was very clean, with air-con, tv, bathrobes and lovely shower. Breakfast offered good choice and was well presended. Staff extreme friendly and helpful.
