Great service, very helpful and nice owners. Clean and neat. Excellent location, near the cafes and beaches. May also walk to the Agora and center of town. Great value for the money. If you need a taxi, just pick one up off the street. It is way cheaper than calling it in.

Room was never clean, the a/c was not working properly and trying to cool the room was a nightmare. The hotel is central but apart from this I see no other reason one would want to stay there. Avoid!!!!

We have stayed in many hotels in Chanea and this is the best .We only stayed for one night as we were in transit but we booked in order to check it out for future reference . Family run and impeccably clean the big bonus is the location .This area , the promenade facing the sea , is filled with...

This is a family business and the customer service really shined. The owner himself can be frequently found at the front desk/bar/lounge. He helped me unscramble a real mess which saved me quite a bit of money. In addition he helped me with travel planning in many ways. Seems like a really great guy. The hotel itself is in a...

The quality of standard city hotel has been suspended by unaccommodating approach of the owner or staff. The extremely noisy bathroom ventilator issue remained unresolved for our whole three days stay, the quality of wifi was poor, presented and ordered free parking at the hotel actually means only free parking around the city...

Filoxenia is a nice hotel with really helpful staff. I booked the room for a business trip and It was a nice place to come and relax. Cafes around the corner and a beach! I definitely recomended it for a pleasant stay in Chania.

Early season visit to Crete, just getting into gear. Nice hotel, very clean and good location about 10 minutes walk from Venetian Harbour and 15 minutes from main town. No beach nearby. Taxi to anywhere can be booked at reception and will arrive in minutes. Lovely fruit and veg market nearby every Saturday which makes the area very busy. Would...

Family business with all staff very helpful for all things. Restaurant recommendation was superb. Easy walk to the old town, and a handy swimming spot 150m down the road from the Hotel - just walk down the steps into the water. Stayed 10 days and would have been very happy to have stayed longer.

My third visit was a total disaster as the proprietor acted in the unfriendliest and most mean-spirited way possible simply because I had a cousin pop in for a quick shower before dinner as we'd been at the beach together. I tried to reason with the gentleman but all he cared about was the fact we used extra water for...

Dear Sir, It is true that I have this hotel and I want money from my customers and I try the best for them and their staying to the hotel and the city of Chania. Sorry but if you want your cousins, brother, friends or others that are not registered in the hotel please book somewhere else (I recommend "Rooms...

The hotel is placed a few steps from the sea and a small beach surronded by local taverns. Despite of that the area is not noisy. The old town is located 15 min walk from the hotel. if you value a good night sleep don't choose anything in the old town. We were so glad we picked this area. The...
