Me and my wife stayed here last September and it was just what we we wanted a quiet hotel where there is no rush for sun beds and you can easily find a secluded spot down by one of the two private beaches. We stayed half board and loved the restaurants at this hotel the food was amazing and service...

We visited this hotel last summer. It was my first time in Crete and Agios Nikolaos so overall didn't know what to expect. When arriving to hotel we learned that we had been upgraded to two bedroom villa. What a lovely surprice! And what a lovely villa it was! It was so private, clean and cool place that we hardly...

Nice twin bed apartment with en-suite and balcony large enough for table and chairs. Very Clean. Superb restaurant facilities and excellant waiting staff always greeting us with a smile. Very good food in main restaurant and beach bars and light snacks served at the pool bar obvious good standards of hygiene. Great paved areas with direct access to the sea...

We had the most fantastic holiday the hotel was amazing the staff were first class the holiday was so good that we are returning at the end of May 2017 for a fortnight. The layout of the hotel was beautiful and the artwork was both intriguing and fascinating. The staff were brilliant and so helpful, the food was first class.

Loved the holiday from start to finish. Opted for a cab from airport and 40 mins later was greeted at the hotel by chearful porter who took us to our bungalow. We couldn't have asked for a better position. 5 steps from the tiny private beach and views across the bay to the town and pretty port of Aghious Nicolaos....

We stayed here early June for a week and really enjoyed it. Relaxed atmosphere, no crowded pools etc. Grounds were exceptional. We had a basic bungalow but it was still really comfortable and clean. We had a flexible half board package which meant we could have either lunch or dinner and this worked really well for us - we enjoyed...

A very good value 5 star hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff. Golf buggy on hand to take you to your bungalow - if required. Wonderful breakfast menu and fine restaurants. The bar run by Takis is a must. He never forgets a face or which drinks you like and how you like them served. Two weeks of bliss!

This hotel is really good. The Staff (especially Agapi and Olympia in the restaurants both very helpful). Food is first class if on half board with options to swap lunch for dinner . Rooms very comfortable but stick to showers as never enough hot water to run a proper bath. We went the last week of October and it was...

Minos Beach Hotel is a large, high-end resort. We enjoyed four days in a beach-side bungalow just steps from the bay. Staff is professional and courteous. Our room was well-appointed, spacious and clean. Our included breakfast buffet had more choices than any we've experienced plus eggs cooked to order and great coffee. We had dinner one night and it was...

Location Beautiful, landscaped grounds. Stunning location. Unfortunately, private beaches have sparse, gritty sand. Bungalows on the right get the best afternoon sun. Lots of good restaurants around the lake, if you choose the bed and breakfast board option.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Minos Beach art hotel has been influenced by the traditional architectural style of fishermen’s villages of Eastern Crete. One storey, whitewashed bungalows and villas with terraces and minimal interiors are almost touching the sea. The unique environs of the hotel with its sumptuous gardens and narrow stone paved streets host the 45 works of Greek and foreign artists. In the eastern part of Crete, only a ten-minute walk from the town centre of Agios Nikolaos and a 45-minute drive from the airport of Heraklion. Exquisite decoration features, minimalist forms and Feng-Shui elements enriched by the Greek aesthetics of cotton and wood, handcrafted details, candles and water syntheses, create unique spaces and corners, making your stay in Minos Beach unforgettable. For a truly VIP experience at Minos Beach, we offer one presidential villa and three executive villas with private swimming pools, as well as exclusive bungalows that are literary “caressing” the sea. ... more   less
