Ok if you have a big wallet and don't mind being marooned in the complex. I would not return. It's for a certain 'type' of person. I like to be among the locals and traditional areas. Five stars but you could be anywhere. Management did try to help but it is what it is.

A perfect family holiday hotel or for couples. The hotel rooms are beautiful with views across the cove. Some rooms have their own pools which can be a gimmick. The quality of the food in the main restaurant is superb and the staff very attentive. I was impress by how accommodating the hotel was for disabled guests and would return...

We went with a young child and it was perfect - well catered for children's mealtimes, great room, stunning views. Only negative was the strong winds which made the beach nearly impossible to enjoy, definitely couldn't take kids - they were effectively sand blasted (this was entirely our bad luck). When it is still the cove is amazing and fantastic...

I went along with family on a trip to the cove last minute. The rest of my party grouped together and got a villa, but me last minute got a room. My room was nice but I was only really there to sleep otherwise I was at the villa. I was able to call a buggy to be transported to...

Daios Cove is one of the best luxury hotels I've ever been. I had a standard room, yet with a private balcony overlooking the sea, spacious and with an unbelievable huge bathroom! I have no words to describe the location, the service, the amazing decoration, including the glass track-trains to get down to the breakfast room and to the gorgeous...

Daios Cove is a good contemporary Greek resort. Brilliant staff with large modern rooms, although lacking any real 'Greek' authenticity. You could be anywhere in the world. Built into the cliff side around a pretty cove although the surrounding countryside is baron and fairly unattractive. There is however one biggie that would stop me from ever returning: in a country...

It was our first family holiday in a hotel with our 1 year old daughter. When we arrived, the stunning building, modern, arty decor and faultless welcome procedure at once reminded me of the hotels we preferred pre-family and filled me with dread because they were never welcoming of children. It turned out we had found the best of both...

We had a great week at Daios cove, we stayed in a suite, which gave us loads of room with our son sleeping on a bed in the lounge, and we had a separate room with a lounge area. We had a huge patio and a private pool, but this was too cold in October to use. We had warm...

We chose to spend the second leg of our Greek honeymoon in Crete, taking the boat down from Santorini. Arriving at Daios Cove late in the evening, we were grateful for having the dinner buffet available, although our initial welcome to the hotel could've perhaps been a bit slicker - firstly, we were made to wait longer than expected for...

We enjoyed a week at Daios Cove in mid October, having got a good deal online. We've had some fantastic holidays in recent years, but this was our first with our 4 month old baby, so we wanted somewhere on a similar level to what we were used to, but equally would feel comfortable with a baby.... in short -...
