We stayed for 13 days at Aelia Apartments end of August - beginning of September. We received a very warm welcome by the super friendly hosts George and Sevi. They did everything to make us feel at home. Aelia has spacious and recently renovated well furnished apartments, a nice swimming pool and poolside, bar. The restaurant serves traditional Greek food as well as Burgers and Pizza's. It's a ten minute walk to the beach. The bus stop for the public bus to Heraklion and Hersonissos is also within walking distance. To discover more of Crete, we rented a car which George arranged for us.

We stayed for 2 weeks and had an absolutely amazing and wonderful time. We had the two rooms by the pool and enjoyed it very much. The rooms are very nice and modern. Cleaning service very good. I can highly recommend this to anyone that wants a relaxing vacation with super friendly (and fun) owners.

We're pretty disappointed!!!!’ every evening there is loud music in the open bar, and as all the rooms are facing centrally towards it, it is impossible to fall asleep before 1am from the noise. The rest is not so bad. They should have differentiated themselves in the description that they are not adapted to families with small children because this is just not a holiday.

On family holiday at Aelia Apartments. We were given a friendly and fantastic service during the week. Every day was the possibility to enjoy a traditionel homemade dinner. This we did several days and it was absolutely delisious. The pool area were very nice and the beach nearby were super. Thank you again for a very nice stay at your place. Highly recommend!!! Very nice apartments! Clean and fresh. Room service every day. People who work there felt like a family after one week! Very friendly and helpful. Nice swimming pool. Children had a lot of fun and even we adults relaxed perfectly. Food was delicious and fresh made after ordering. We want back! Georg, Maria, if you are reading this big THANK YOU for everything! We had a wonderful stay at Aelia apartments, and we will highly recommend this place if you are looking for a little piece of authentic crete. George and Athena did everything in their means to make our stay great. Very friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are spacious and clean, and consist of a queen size bed, plus opportunity for 2 beds more, which is great when you travel with kids. There’s a small kitchen, for light meals. The rooms get cleaned every day, and there will be provided fresh towels when needed. By the pool is a bar and a small restaurant that serves a variety of Greek authentic meals and the prices are affordable. I can definitely recommend eating in a day or two. On Saturday George has authentic Greek BBQ which is definitely worth a try. The hotel is surrounded by a plantation of olives, and there for a short 10 minut walk down to Anissaras beach, where you will find restaurants and shopping facilities. Aelia apartments is a 10 minute drive to Chersonissos, which is the biggest town in the area. I will recommend renting a car for a few day, to explore the surroundings easily. Overall we had an amazing stay at Aelia apartments. We will highly recommend this place, and are looking forward to hopefully visit again soon.…

We really enjoyed our stay at Aelia Apartments! It is a small but very nice and recently renovated apartment complex. The apartments are spacious, modern and clean and all with a big terrace or balcony. The owners and the staff are very friendly and caring and our family felt very welcome. The pool area is nice and clean with the bar and restaurant just next to it. The area surrounding the complex is quiet but nice and with the beach and Hersonissos only a short distance away. We highly recommend staying at Aelia Apartments and will definetely come back to visit soon.
