We stayed in the hotel for two nights September 2014. The hotel is very close to Acropolis and Thissio metro station. Top quality breakfast. Best bathroom during our whole three weeks Europe trip. Most importantly, the service we received was excellent, reception staff were very nice and helpful. Will definitely stay in here again the next visit.

Service: Excellent (The staff is pretty servicial and very attentive) Location: Excellent (We managed to walk through the main views of Athens in 1 day because of this gorgeous location) Breakfast: Very Good (i.e. eggs, fruit, bread, and more.) Rooms: We stayed in the superior double room (I think?). Bed is super cool, and the room is spacious enough. There...

I cannot give enough wonderful compliments about the O&B Athens Boutique Hotel and the staff who work there. Whenever we travel to a destination we've never been before, our usual fear is that we picked the wrong hotel for reasons of uncleanliness, bad service, or even bad location. But the O&B Athens Boutique Hotel surpassed every one of our expectations....

My wife and I stayed at O&B for one night before continuing on to Istanbul and the Greek Islands. Hotel itself is very easy to get to from ATH via metro. I wouldn't even consider paying for a taxi given the ease of the metro and the short walk from two metro stations. The street the hotel is on is...

Don't be fooled by the location. It's close to public transport and monastriiaki district. The staff at O&B Boutique Hotel superseded our expectations. Elvis and the staff went above and beyond the service expected. Nothing was too difficult for them. Our room was initially a superior room which was street facing and very noisy due to the window not sealing...

Lovely arrival with ice water, a shot of ozou and some delicious snacks. The hotel staff was helpful in providing directions, recommendations and accomodated our early 6am checkout. Boxed breakfast was even prepared with no extra charge. However, our Saturday and Sunday nights were sleepless. Our room faced the street with a bumping night club. Just as the night club...

We booked this hotel thanks to recommendations on trip advisor. The location was good the staff excellent, they bent over backwards to meet any need. Especially Julia she was a delight. The room was dark and tiny, I had to open the curtains to get enough light to put makeup on. The view from our room was "seedy looking buildings...

We stayed here for 3 nights before going to the islands and had a great time. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The location is great as its walking distance to most of the attractions, and there are some great restaurants nearby. The breakfast menu had a lot of options and the same items were not repeated.

Staying in Psirri / Gazi

Neighbourhood Profile
Psirri / Gazi
Side-by-side neighbourhoods Psirri and Gazi provide some of the city’s prime nightlife. The almost claustrophobic streets of Psirri feature an interesting blend of original small businesses with the restaurants, cafés and bars that have recently sprouted up. The central artery of Agion Anargiron Street has lively places to eat or drink. Further west, you can visit the peaceful ancient cemetery of Keramikos, then cross busy Pireos Street to find yourself in Gazi. With the huge Technopolis performance and art complex converted from old gasworks at its heart, you really have to come at night to appreciate this maze of bars at its best, although a daytime stroll will allow you to admire the excellent street art.
