For a quick visit we wanted to be close to Plaka and we got a great view, renovated bathroom, and a quiet room with a balcony overlooking the Acropolis. Not fancy and the elevator is comically small but it had all the basics and was clean and attractive. Recommended if you want a good easy location for walking and restaurants.

Great hotel, it's very clean and the staff are helpful; perfect for a few days of city sight seeing. The hotel has a great central location a street away from all of the designer shops like: Nike, adidas H&M, Zara etc. Shame the hotel doesn't serve any kind of food but the hotel is located close to all the restaurants...

I moved to this hotel because the first hotel I booked (Hotel Tempi) was horrible. I was so happy with this one! Clean, just renovated, warm, nice bathroom... It felt like a safe space for a solo female traveler and I got a great night sleep. The location is very good for shopping and tourism and when leaving I stepped...

We spent 1 night at this hotel. The rooms are small but nice. Most of the furniture is clean. The location is perfect. You can walk everywhere. The breakfast was small but nice with cereals, bread, eggs, juice, coffee and tea etc. The staff was nice and had some useful advices for us.

Staying in Syntagma

Neighbourhood Profile
Perhaps the best place to get your bearings is Syntagma Square, crowned by the imposing Parliament building on its upper side and surrounded by other large structures, such as the exclusive Hotel Grande Bretagne. The grand avenues that lead towards Omonia are also full of massive Neoclassical edifices like the Numismatic Museum and those around smaller Platia Kolokotroni. Here you will find lots of travel agents, bookshops and fashion shops, especially on Ermou Street. Just south of Syntagma Square, you can take a breather in the lush National Gardens, which extend into the grounds of the Zappeio palace and beyond to the ancient Temple of Olympian Zeus.
