Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean well presented hotel. Excellent breakfast. Position is fairly good but a 5-10 min walk to main restaurant area. Room was original decoration as described - perhaps a little small but no real issue. A very good place to stay.

We stayed here for a short break. The hotel is very attractive, and well located for the major sites. We were warned about the area behind the hotel, so did not venture there, but aside from this felt very safe and enjoyed being in a...More

Omonia
Omonia Square is as plain in appearance as Syntagma is
grand. Surrounded largely by functional blocks from
the 1950s and 60s and no longer boasting its
underground stalls, the square is now mostly
frequented by immigrants and bargain shoppers. The
most rewarding area to explore is to the south. Set
off down Athinas Street, with the Acropolis gradually
coming into focus in the distance, and you will get a

With a lot to see and do in Athens we did not even try to look for hotels with a pool but there are some out there. Not a bad idea if you have kids who may not want to walk for hours to see the city.

We walked around at all hours of the night in various states of sobriety and never felt concerned. Stick to Psyrri and Monstraki square and you will be fine.
