Beautiful, clean, large room. We had a huge balcony with the best view of the city. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast every morning was great and I ate a big bowl of creamy Greek yoghurt with fruit and fresh honey ever morning for breakfast! Location was perfect - so close to everything and we were able to walk everywhere easily. Area felt super safe and when my kid's had a freak out moment there was a McDonald's two blocks away for a quick hit of home!

My family and I stayed at Ava Hotel & Suites for 4 nights in April. It was a wonderful, restful hotel and I would highly recommend it. We were in room 102, directly above the lobby. We booked an Executive Suite, which included a King size bed and desk in a bedroom and proper heavy wooden doors that separated it from the living area and kitchenette. There was a balcony one could walk on that connected the bedroom and the living area. From our balcony we could see the acropolis of Athens and the Greek flag waving at the top. The kitchenette included a sink, stove, microwave, Nespresso machine and Tefal water kettle. The decor was tasteful: crown molding in the ceiling, ceramic figurines, ceramic apples etc. Our children slept on the fold out sofa and a rollaway bed and were very happy. I’m a bit of a neat freak, and a germaphobe, and I was impressed with housekeeping. The bathroom had a walk in rain head shower with 2 proper glass doors that fully closed- none of those silly half door showers. There was also a portable seat that one could bring into the shower, which was very helpful for shaving, etc. Water temperature and pressure were both good. Toiletries were lovely and made in Greece by the brand Olivia. The bathroom actually had a beautiful huge dome carved into the ceiling, painted light blue and it was beautiful when the light was turned on. The staff members at Ava were friendly, helpful, professional and prompt. I called Ava in advance with questions and requests and everything was addressed promptly. On the morning of our Parthenon visit, the tickets that I had purchased from the official website never came to me via email. The gentleman at the front desk called the office, and found out the website was having technical difficulties, and helped me figure out a resolution. The front desk team also booked our taxi to the airport. When we arrived, we were welcomed with 2 mini bottles of moscato in a bucket of ice- what a welcome! The location was excellent. We could walk to the Acropolis ticket office, Acropolis Museum, starting point for several tours, in only 5 minutes. I loved the location. Hardrian’s Gate is located at the end of the street. There are many little cafes, restaurants, and shops all within walking distance. With our 6 & 9 year old, we walked to the Parthenon, Acropolis Museum, Panathenaic Stadium, Parliament and the Monument to the Unknown Soldier, Monastiraki, Ancient Agora, Areopagus Hill (Mars Hill) etc. The only downside was breakfast- it seemed like it could have been a little better, especially at a price of 18 euros per adult. Perhaps made to order eggs, more types of olives, more fresh cut fruit to justify that price point. Our rate didn’t include breakfast, and we chose to grab coffee and a pastry from a little breakfast stand called Salt or Sugar around the corner. Thank you Ava for an incredible visit to Athens.

We couldn’t fault our stay at the Ava Hotel & Suites. The staff were fabulous; welcoming, super friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The location is great, near to all the main historical sites, bars and restaurants but quiet at night, which was essential for us as we were only there for a long weekend. We booked the Athens Experience package which included breakfast and we were really impressed with the choices of offer each morning, plus as we were there for clean Monday, a bank holiday in Greece, there were some special delicacies as well. We stayed in a spacious regular suite on the 3rd overlooking a small courtyard which was perfect for us. All in all we had an amazing time and would highly recommend you visit this great hotel.

Ava Hotel is conveniently located to everything you should care about in Athens. We stayed in one of the suites so our daughter could sleep on the fold out couch. The room and hotel is beautiful. We had a view of the Acropolis from our balcony. The staff was very responsive to every need. It is a short walk to stores and great food.

We had a wonderful stay at AVA Suites and Hotels. The place was very clean and the staff was wonderful. The king size bed was very comfortable. As we were there in the off season, we chose our daily breakfast menu. It was brought to our room each morning and our chosen time. It is also in a great location. Within walking distance of many restaurants and shops. It also within minutes of tour starting points. When (not if) we come back to Athens, we will definitely look forward to staying here again.

I stayed in AVA Boutique Hotel Athens for 3 nights - it was my first time in Athens and I found the location very convenient for exploring historical sights by foot and going out for dinner to local tavernas. The room was very clean & comfortable, I especially enjoyed cozy bathrobe and great coffee in the morning! I always consider the team as the face of the business and AVA's team was very knowledgable, welcoming and friendly. If I am ever in Athens, I will be staying in AVA again :)

Great little Boutique style hotel with super friendly staff in a quiet area yet steps from the Acropolis and many restaurants and shops on pedestrian friendly streets. The staff very helpful and they all spoke English as do most of the population in Athens.

Overall great hotel with friendly staff and fantastic location but there are some areas for improvement Rooms: Big rooms with own kitchenette. Good bed and quality pillows. At night, you can hear the metro but it didn't bother us. Bathroom: Very clean but rather small. A major drawback was that the shower door was insufficiently sealed, causing water to enter the bathroom under the door. Good temperature and water pressure. Breakfast: Breakfast was in the room as there were not enough guests in the hotel for a buffet. Each evening you could order what you wanted to eat the next morning and at what time it could be brought. Unfortunately, occasionally a portion was given too little compared to the order but there was always enough. Lots of choice, all fresh produce. Sometimes the food had already cooled down a bit when it arrived like the pancakes or eggs. Location: 10/10. We walked to every sight we wanted to visit. Right in the center and near good restaurants. Staff: Friendly staff at the reception. We were always greeted when we left or we came back.

I had a fantastic recent stay at Ava Hotel Athens. The room in impeccably clean and really spacious. With fluffy robes and tea and coffee waiting adding a lovely homely touch. The rooms were very quiet for a peaceful sleep with no disturbances. The hotel facilities were great, I enjoyed the breakfast and also made use of the meeting spaces as I was on a business trip. The staff were very attentive and kind, always ready to help. Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone wanting the perfect stay in Athens!
