We arrived in athens a little unprepared and we booked the Balasca really because we could find little else available. The location is OK - 5 min walk from the main station (Larissa) and 4 stops on the metro to Akropoli and the main tourist area. The room was clean but dated and reasonable value for money - the air...

I was in Hotel Balasca in June 2005. It is a very simple hotel. My room was tiny but clean with airco, TV and a very small balcony. No luxury, sometimes it was very loud. The traffic (even on 4th floor!) and the nousy Greek (!) neighbours. But when you are al day out in the city then it is...
