It's not every day you pass a metro station named ACROPOLI, then Fix- metro station (beer!) and a short way to MARBLE HOUSE. Easy to find. White marble here and there! and the TERRAZZA! Friendly and handsome staff. I'll be back! I recommend.

As many have mentioned, this hotel is clean and comfortable, and we liked the location which is only a 10-15 minute walk from the main tourist areas. It is very clean and bathrooms, although very small especially for large people (common among budget hotels), are recently renovated. I want to second the review of the traditional Greek restaurant just a...

The hotel is clean and comfortable. We loved the location at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac. It's close enough to the major sights but still in a residential area so you can eat out without limiting yourself to tourist joints. Some of the rooms have lovely balconies that look out on the street. I would just warn travelers that...

I am giving Marble House a 5 out of 5, not because it's among the nicest hotels I've ever stayed in, but because it is excellent within its class of budget hotels. It is spotlessly clean, the location can't be beat, it is very quiet, the bed was very comfortable, and the owner was always available and helpful. Our room...

Loved the 3 day stay in it. Most of the times was out but the hotel is very nicely maintained. Small rooms but very beautifully decorated. Walkable distance to Acropolis. Right in the heart of Plaka. About 10 mins walk from nearest metro! Very helpful staff.

This is the second time that we have stayed at Marble House, and it is our "go to" accommodation when in Athens. It's very quiet, clean and comfortable and the location can't be beat. It's a great value for Athens, and Cristos is a wonderful host. He takes great pride in his family owned business and it shows in how...

Aus einer vorhergehenden Bewertung kopiert und nichts hinzuzufügen: The hotel offers outstanding value for money. The quiet location in a cul-de-sac walking distance from the Acropolis is a huge plus, as are the friendly and helpful owners. Rooms are attractive and super-clean, not overly large but well laid out. Bathrooms are well appointed. A superb, reasonably priced Greek restaurant awaits...

Perfect place in Athens! The service was great!! Helpful and sweet. Close distance to the Acropolis and they recommended great local places to dine. The rooms were clean and the whole hotel was in marble. Do yourself a favour and book this place if you are visiting Athens for a few days it's perfect!

Located in a quiet cul de sac, a five minute walk from the Acropolis Museum area, this place represents good value for money. My room was perfectly decent - clean and comfortable - although the bathroom was very small and the wifi signal was very weak. The area is quiet although some other guest were quite noisy - the doors...
