I traveled alone to visit Athens for the first time and needed a place to stay near all the museums and monuments. This hotel is perfect, just few mins from metro station Sygrou-Fix, easily accesable. Room: I had a very small old room, the bed wasnt comfy at all, but you get used to it. Everything was perfectly clean, there was a small fridge. I would appreciate if there was a bottle of water in the minibar. Bathroom: No hot water around midnight, otherwise ok, very clean WC, no problem with anything else. Breakfast: american breakfast, enought food and place for everyone, quality and variety for 3* hotel was good. Who needs a strong coffe, I recommend to take 3 espresso at once :) Services: 3 complimentary peices of cloths for iron, receptionist was kind and professional Roof bar: very comfy small bar, with a perfect view on Acropolis. Beer and drinks are very expensive, 4 Eur for a small beer, but you pay for the view!! Definitely worth it! Overall: old hotel, but for few nights stay perfect choice for lower budged, here you pay for the location not for comfort.

Acropolis Select is perfectly located, a few minutes away from the Acropolis itself, Plaka, Anafiotica and Monastiraki neighborhoods. Rooms are comfortable, people at the front desk are nice and helpful , breakfast is delicious. Great stay in Athens!

While the location of this hotel is not bad at all, additionally its rooftop bar is charming with a lovely view of the Acropolis. Having said that I am a retired physician who rarely writes reviews for TripAdvisor. Our first night after flying into Athens our non-renovated bathroom had no working shower. An attempt to repair it by the night maintenance person was unsuccessful and we were advised to take a bath. When we discovered there was no Way to take a bath because there was a missing bathroom tub stopper we were informed at 12:30 at night to come down to the lobby and obtain one. The manager gave us complementary rooftop drinks as an apology. The next night the shower had no hot water due to a local water outage. That very night the split air conditioning unit dumped over two glasses of water onto a desk where our laptop computer had been only 15 minutes earlier. When we complained about that the hotel manager advised us to leave a review prior to any reconciliation for our damaged travel documents and leather wallet that were underneath air conditioning. Definitely the staff needs help, the rooms are not up to par some being redone and others looking like high school students did the caulking job. Service was marginal at best, no USB plugs and no thought of even getting anything other than worthless batteries that they send to your room that have no charge. Will be interesting to see how management reimburses us after leaving this review. I’ve never had a hotel dispute contingent upon leaving a review prior to settlement, that seems to say something in and of itself.

We stayed here 2 nights pre-cruise and 1 night post-cruise. We chose this hotel mainly for the location and the rooftop bar/restaurant. It was a great choice for both……only 5 minute easy walk to the Plaka area and entrance to the Acropolis, and about 20 minute walk to Syntagma Square. We walked everywhere! The rooms are pretty basic, but clean and comfortable. There is a fridge, but no coffee maker. Our first room pre-cruise was on the second floor with no view to speak of, and the bathroom was pretty small . Our second stay was on the 6th floor with a large balcony and nice view of the Acropolis (we were rewarded with an upgrade for returning 😀). There is only one elevator that is very small and only holds 2 people(or 1 person with luggage). You need your room key to access it going up. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful. They do their best to try and get you in the room early, but they have storage for your luggage so you can go explore while waiting. Breakfast was decent and self serve, and the coffee was really good. The rooftop restaurant/bar was great. The service and views were awesome. The food menu is small and basic and we didn’t have dinner there, but the bartenders were terrific and friendly…….. and we had the best White Russian we have ever tasted! We were on holiday after all. Lol We would definitely recommend this hotel as a nice little boutique hotel. Nothing fancy, if that is what you are looking for, but perfect if you want a great rooftop bar and excellent location.

everyone was so helpful! we needed a wheelchair for my husband and they went out of their way to coordinate the delivery of it. They stored it for us too during the evening. The rooftop restaurant had fantastic views, drinks, food and the service was terrific. I would definitely stay here again.
