Overall very nice experience with a great disadvantage regarding the price of the parking fee of 26€ for us who stayed at night. We did not come for one hour but came as clients with dinner reservation and accomodation. It should not be so expensive and leave a bad taste no matter how tasty the food was.... Outrageous price!!!

My wife and I recently stayed at SGL for a short weekend trip to Athens. Very hot in room and impossible to regulate airconditioning. Location is good but you have to pay for it. €7 for a Coca cola.. and €3 for a small bottle of water. Told the lady at the reception that it would be better to provide some free mineral water in a city where water from tap smells chloride, her answer...

An amazing weekend with my friends at Lycabettus Hotel. Great staff ( Mirsini is a great and lovely person ) , even better food , TOP view . Room was good but the most amazing part of the hotel is the 6th floor with its stunning view. 5 stars from me

A very nice hotel in The centre of Athens. Not to far from the main attractions but also not in the middle of allthe polution and noise. Nicely located on top of Lycabetus Hill it is a good option to pay a bit extra to get a room with a view

The hotel provides the services you may expect. The breakfast is well organised and is located on the sixth floor, so you have a nice view. Hopefully the hotel will improve the 'noisecanceling' in the rooms. Nowadays you will hear everything of the other rooms. Furthermore there is no sauna or indoor swimming pool at all, only a hamam.

This hotel is situated in the pleasant surrounds of the inner Athens suburb of Kolonaki well suited to persons interested fashion shops and good eateries. The hotel has aging butcomfortable accomodation. The breakfast is above average for choice and the restaurant dining in the evening is very good with excellent elevated views of Athens .

Staying in Kolonaki / Lykavittos

Neighbourhood Profile
Kolonaki / Lykavittos
By far the ritziest neighbourhood in town, Kolonaki is home to most of the chic boutiques and designer label stores. Here, the wealthy say no to austerity by dressing in their finest and spending hours in the trendy cafés around Kolonaki Square, sipping the most expensive coffee in Europe. The area also contains a couple of notable museums and cultural institutions, which add to the air of nobility. The leafy upper reaches of Kolonaki transition into Lykavittos Hill, the highest point in central Athens. Climb the paths through its wooded slopes to the tiny chapel at the top, from where you are rewarded with stunning views across the Acropolis to the sea and even the mountains of the Peloponnese on a clear day. The wooden amphitheater up here hosts regular concerts during the summer.
