You can’t go wrong with this hotel’s impeccable service. Their staff are highly trained. We stayed in the butler floor. The room was nicely decorated, spacious with a balcony access and was very clean. Delicious buffet breakfast was served daily at the rooftop overlooking the Acropolis. The wait staff were always very attentive and friendly without being intrusive. The restaurant at the ground floor also served an international selection of well curated dishes that were as delicious. The location and access of the hotel is perfect for sightseeing and shopping. On a Sunday , a changing of the guards in full regalia happens at the Parliament right across the hotel. We would only stay at this hotel next time we visit Athens.
While we spent only one night at this property, we found it to be ideal for our stay. The hotel is centrally located and makes an easy starting point for exploring Athens by foot. As an example, the hotel sits directly across the street from the Parliament Building and Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, so you can easily catch one of the changing of the guards ceremonies—this is even more special on Sundays when the guards are in their ceremonial attire—before heading the short distance to the National Garden and then the Temple of Zeus. As for the hotel itself, the rooftop bar/restaurant on the 8th floor is truly a stunning spot to have a drink, eat a quick breakfast, or enjoy a leisurely, delicious, and graciously served dinner. . . All with the Acropolis and Parthenon floating on the horizon! Indeed, regardless of your other plans, the Garden Roof should certainly be on your itinerary. Finally, while the rooms appear to differ quite a bit, our two rooms were both quite large and featured very comfortable beds with crisp linens and soft pillows.…
Absolutely Amazing Hotel Experience. We came to celebrate Christmas Holidays with family. Beautiful Rooms and Suites. Various dining options. Amazing Rooftop Restaurant and Bar with spectacular view of Acropolis and Parliament Building. This hotel has Spa Services available as well. Location is great, just a short walk to all the shops and restaurants.
I stayed at the hotel twice - in Dec 2022 and in Jan 2023. The hotel is next to the Syntagma subway station and the main shopping street in Athens. The hotel's service was excellent. The butlers were responsive and prompt with assisting me with my queries, helped me with restaurant reservations, and their dining recommendations were good. Front desk staff was friendly especially Elena who remembered my room numbers and was efficient with the checkout process during both stays. Elena took note of my room request for my 2nd stay, and the hotel kindly accomodated my request. I tried the spa on both occasions, and the therapists were good. The spa facilities are well maintained, and I enjoyed using the spa. Breakfast had a good variety and food was tasty. The rooftop restaurant has amazing views of the Acropolis. I stayed in different rooms during both my stays, and both rooms were comfortable and spacious. Housekeeping did a good job of maintaining cleanliness twice a day. Overall, both stays were fantastic. …
The most iconic hotel in Athens , Best location on Syntagma Square, steps away from Luxury Shops, Restaurants and other attractions. Beautiful rooftop bar and restaurant with amazing views of Acropolis. Superb Service, variety of dining options. We have stayed in this hotel on several different occasions.
An amazing experience. The rooms are exquisite. The Christmas time decoration was stunning, beautiful and so festive. I, my kids and rest of the family members thoroughly enjoyed our stay. My kids have allergies, so they customized food each time without any problem. In room dining is also available. The cigar room lounge, the other restaurants, each one of them were awesome. Really good food and excellent service. Highly recommend this hotel. Plus, the location is very convenient! Next to the Square and very close to everything. Our acropolis tour was walking distance from this hotel.
Beautiful hotel in the centre of Athens. One night stay arranged by cruise company before boarding the following morning. I cannot fault this hotel on anything, it’s a beautiful historic building with much character, tastefullly decorated and maintained. The staff are all well trained and very helpful and obliging, with nothing too much trouble. The roo we had was stunning and so is reception, lounge and dining rooms. Breakfast was well presented, plenty of choice and tasty. From my point of view, the roof terrace restaurant is it’s jewel in the crown. The location overlooking the Parthenon is magnificent, food is excellent, with a good choice of fine wines and an attentive service. If you do one thing in your life, it’s to have an evening meal on the terrace in summer. This night was definitely the highlight of our holiday. Would love to re-visit. A big thank you to all the wonderful staff.…
Room very comfortable, service was excellent, the real treat was the restaurant/bar up on the rooftop. Although we weren't able to get a reservation to eat there, we did go up the bar for a cocktail and we were blown away by the view at night. Even if you don't stay there, make a trip for a cocktail in the evening!
Stayed here many times yet still getting amazed how good is the concierge service! Mr. Apostolos and his team are word class and will put you in to any restaurant you wish even if they are fully booked! Spectacular view of the parliament, super room service and smooth checking in just an extra…
My wife and steed here at the end of October, 2022 to celebrate our birthdays. We were upgraded to a junior suite and provided a bottle of champagne in our room, and bottle of Greek Brandy and cookies. This hotel is luxurious, and it's the little details that make it. everything from the welcoming champagne, the fabulous complimentary breakfast, the heat turned on in the room at night (rundown service), a great location within the city, the friendly and attentive staff, and remarkable views from the rooftop restaurant while dining or just having drinks. Superb service and accommodations. Definitely worth staying while in Athens.
