We stayed one night in this hotel near the Acropolis: beautiful room and perfectly cleaning, very kind receptionist always at our disposal. The rooftop breakfast Is unique. It's located in Ermou Street, a very nice zone for shopping and for visiting Athens.
This hotel hits all the marks; location, high quality accomodations, great staff and service, including a wonderful rooftop restaurant. You cannot ask for more for the price we paid. It exceeded our expectations. Thank you to the Katarinas for all your assistance and advice and a special thank you to all the restaurant staff, you made our stay wonderful.
This boutique hotel was in the perfect location for my first and solo visit to Athens. You step outside and the shopping is right on your doorstep, literally.. Ermou Street is definitely the place to buy your next pair/s of sandals. Plaka and Monastiraki are also a very short walk away. The room is small and the lift not for the claustrophobic but it is a boutique hotel so it sort of comes with the territory. The service though is personal and the girls on the front desk, Katerina x 2 and Anna, are kind and generous with their time and advice. They are wonderful and will make you want to visit again. The rooftop bar is a must visit for anyone wanting a breathtaking view of the Acropolis and the ultimate Greek wine experience. Vassilis Papadopoulos is one of the best sommeliers I have come across anywhere! It’s clear he has a real love for his craft and it gives him great joy to share it with people. The wine list is extensive and all wines are served by the glass which in itself is rare. I really enjoyed my personal sommelier for a few days and want to share this so that others get to have the same experience, it’s worth it! I leave Athens not only with a few more pairs of sandals, interesting jewellery but surprisingly with a greater appreciation of Greek wines! Who knew!…
The room was small, but that seems to be the norm in Greece. The location cannot be beat though! It is right on the main shopping street in Athens and is central to everything you could want to see! It's a pedestrian street, so there is no traffic to fight with. The only problem is that our driver had to drop us off, and we had to walk to the hotel. It wasn't marked well and was hard to find. Luckily, the desk clerk spotted us and thought we might be looking for the property. She came out and got us. I'm not sure we'd have found it without her. The room was comfortable and overlooked the street. There was some noise until about 11:00 (23:00), but it settled down after that. Unlike some of our other hotels, this one didn't offer Netflix/Prime. I don't know how breakfast was because we stayed only one night and had to leave before it would have been served. The bed was comfortable and the staff was helpful.…
Approaching the hotel is difficult since the taxi/uber/private car will leave you a couple of blocks away due to pedestrian only streets. After lugging suitcases over cobblestones, you are bound to miss this little hotel if you are not paying close attention. The sign in front of the hotel is for the rooftop bar. The hotel itself is unobtrusive at best. Entering the lobby, you find it is more a hallway than a lobby, there being no room for suitcases, travelers, and front desk. All doubts come rushing in. Are the room photos doctored on the website. Is this place ok for families? is this a nightmare hotel. Once you manage to speak to the person manning the front desk, everything starts to take shape. Anna was very welcoming and reassuring. She had arranged everything and was expecting us (a group of seven in four rooms). Bringing in the suitcases in the impossibly small elevator was a mission, but then.....the reveal. The rooms were modern, clean, recently redone, cold, and better yet, had the best view of the Acropolis. The bed and bedding were spotless and very comfortable. I believe the mattress was memory foam and provided for a good sleep. The rooftop bar serves food and drinks until well into the night. The view from the bar is amazing. Take night pictures of the Acropolis all lit up. Within walking distance there is a district full of restaurants and bars. The prices are relatively modest and good fun was had by all. It was really as promised. Good overnight hotel, reasonably priced and well located. The only drawback was the fact that you have to walk in and out with suitcases searching for a cab or even your private transport.…
Absolutely perfect hotel for a visit to Athens. Spectacular views, comfortable and really well appointed rooms, great breakfast buffet, extremely friendly and helpful staff. Brilliant value. Will be staying here every time I come to Athens from now on!
Overall, its a great place to stay. Our room was small, like all European hotel rooms, no closets, with a bar fridge and daily complimentary water. The bathroom was nice, great shower, necessities like shower caps included, large window for lots of light and black out curtains. The elevator fits 3 adults, but no one really wants you in their elevator space, so that requires patience, especially at night when people come to the rooftop garden. Now—that is why we chose the property, breakfast with the best view of the Acropolis!! The man and young woman who prepare the buffet breakfast and provide the service are very nice and accommodating, breakfast is good. There is a welcome cocktail in the evening upon arrival so the view of Acropolis is fantastic at night. However, unless you buy a drink at evening, you cannot sit there, as a different company takes it over and runs a cocktail space. We did not realize that the front door is on a pedestrian street, Ermou Street, fantastic location and walk to everywhere in the main city areas, lots of fun to shop and browse, very crowded, short distance to Syntagma Square. Tiny entry area with front desk. Very nice staff.…
The hotel is located in the main street in the center of town. The staff at the reception are very kind and helpful especially the 2 Katerina's . The room was comfortable and very very clean . The view of the Acropolis from the roof garden was really speechless. We recommend the hotel warmly.
I needed a good central location during my stay both due to a lack of good physical mobility and lack of ability to drive and this couldn’t have been a better choice. It’s right on a pedestrian street so there is no traffic noise, and it’s super close to the Parthenon, a few museums and the Plaka. I slowly hobbled my way over there in about ten minutes. The roof bar has an amazing view and a good variety of local wines if that’s your scene. Front desk was always nice and never failed to greet me as I came and went.
Very lovely boutique style hotel ,friendly and helpfull stuff ,perfectly located within walking distance for all main tourist attraction ,will be nearly perfect however breakfast service ruined reputation of this place,,, Very limited selection ,cannot pick the food yourself (Covid they said, but you can help yourself with drink containers sic!) small portion and what is worse food is cold ,staying three nights and every occasion was same ,when you ask them why they don't really bother.there is no tea for breakfast only fruit one ,never experience this anywhere. Summarised this lovely hotel to stay but don't pay extra for breakfast not worth it.
