First, the room was excellent. It was very large with a bedroom, a kitchen, a living room and of course a bathroom. All rooms were a very good size. The ac worked great, with a very comfortable bed and living room area. I loved how big this room was. And the breakfast was very good. Second, the location of this hotel was right in the middle of everything. A 5-minute walking distance to anything and everything. You have the large marketplace to shop, all the restaurants you could ask for to the left and right of you, and transit transportation right around the corner if you want to use it. Third is the staff. Everyone was very pleasant, with good energy, and very helpful. I am one that believes the staff can make or break a hotel, and they made this place a very lovely place to stay on my vacation. I would stay here again if I return to Athens, Greece. It is a very fine place to stay for a vaction.

We stayed at this hotel for three nights and couldn't fault it. The staff were really friendly and went out of there way to accommodate our vegan requirements for breakfast, it was delicious. Great location right in the hustle and bustle and within walking distance of the Acropolis and multiple bars and restaurants. The apartment was clean well equipped and had a really comfortable bed. I would highly recommend.

Location and balcony are great. That's it. We rented the top suite with the balcony and had almost no room for two people, no space for luggage, tiny bathroom, and only a queen bed. Desk people were rude. Breakfast you have to go all the way down six floors to the restaurant and then get and carry up the elevator and then up the stairs. AC was not turned on prior to arrival at 9pm and took hours to cool. Car pickup was arranged was highly overpriced. Balcony view is great and quiet room. Wifi weak and sporadic, lights from router and other electronics aimed at bed so that you have to wear a mask to sleep and mirrors reflect them twice. Bedspread amd sheets way too short small for bed. Oh and needs about 5 more outlets in the room.

We were really looking forward to staying at this hotel for two nights. We enjoyed the hotel and the staff (especially Marina and Eirini) as well as the overall location. You are in walkable distance from Psirri center, Monasteraki square and just around the corner are many, many restaurants. The location is so good, because you are in the thick of things and the vibe of this area is super super cool. We had the Loft and the superiour roo which were great, spacious and comfortable. However, there were some things we did not enjoy and we think need some re-doing or re-thinking: - house keeping is only done every two days. We did not appreciate this as it was never communicated anywhere. For us, this is part of the holiday, that I do not have to do anything and can rely on housekeeping to get the garbage out etc. However, when we asked Marina, she fully understood that we did not like it and did send housekeeping in on the "day off" which we really appreciated highly!!! - you cannot throw toilet paper into the toilet. We were told that this is the case everywhere in Greece; however, we have never experienced this in Greece, no matter where we were including Athens. - the thing with the toilet paper is actually not a problem. We accepted it and think that the building (used to be a shoe factory) is simply old and hence the piping cannot handle the paper; again, no problem, but then the housekeeping and throwing away the rubbish only every two days did not fit in our opinion. For hygienic reasons, it should be ckeaned every day. - we had the loft with a great view and also the superior room. The loft has a great view of the Acropolis so that we got our lunch and/or dinner as take away and enjoyed it there. What we found strange was that there is a big kitchen area with a fridge, kettle etc. but no sink. This is missing because with such a huge terrace (with the magnificent view!!) and enough chairs for a family so that we could eat with our boys there, makes a sink to quickly wash up the dishes etc. necessary. The sink in the bath is too small for that. The superior room is very spacious and has a kitchen. No problems there. -breakfast has to be ordered the day before until 18.00 h and although it was quite good (sandwiches were a bit dry) and filling, we prefer the flexibility of a buffet, because we could only have one orange juice, one cup of coffee, everything else is extra charge, but this is purely our preference and nothing negative against the hotel; tables and chairs were not always clean enough for us, but ok. - in the loft is a green light and a power box with a see-through-door. A green and two red light honestly illuminated the loft so much, that we had to cover it with a shirt and it still shone through. This was annoying. So, overall, we enjoyed the stay due to the location, staff and view from the own room, but did not enjoy the housekeeping and breakfast too much.

This hotel was fantastic! We had a spectacular stay for 3 nights. My family of 4 had a Suite with Balcony. It was stylish, spacious, clean, comfortable and perfectly located in the middle of Psirri District which is full of great night life and <5 minute walk from Monastiraki Square. There is some noise at night, but overall it is relatively quiet despite how much is going on. We love looking out from the balcony to see what was happening in the narrow streets/ alleys below. The breakfast menu choices each morning were really great and the food delicious. The concierges at the desk were very helpful in providing recommendations and securing dinner reservations for us. Overall, we really couldn't ask for a more perfect stay.

We had a lovely 4 night stay at the Urban Nest. All staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are all furnished beautifully and very clean. Breakfast was really enjoyable and tasty. We had our flight cancelled the morning we were meant to be checking out, the lovely receptionist ( sorry we didn’t get your name) was so helpful and understanding and was able to move us to another room. The hotel is in a great area to access the sights, bars and restaurants. Thank you Urban Nest you helped to make our visit to Athens even more memorable.

As the last few reviews have indicated the hotel is fantastic, in a perfect location, and easy walking to all the historic sites. Plenty of restaurants, bars and clubs right outside the door and the metro just around the corner. I couldn’t more highly recommend staying here.

What a great place to stay. Close to everything....restaurants, shops, pharmacies, and historic sites. The rooms are 100% updated and very comfortable. The employees are extremely friendly and helpful. Best hotel we've ever stayed. And breakfast is included....not a buffet...freshly cooked food. Amazing!

Stayed here with my teenage daughter when visiting from the UK. Our room was spotlessly clean and all the furniture etc was in great condition. The beds were comfy, there was plenty of hot water, the towels were lovely and soft and the kitchen an added bonus. All the staff at the hotel were really helpful and friendly - from the moment we arrived we felt welcome and nothing was too much trouble. In fact, even before we arrived I had emailed a few times and always got a fast and helpful reply. Breakfast was included in our stay and there was plenty of choice (you have to choose what you want the day before). My daughter is a bit of a fussy eater but they were accommodating to her requests and adapted the choices for her. The food was really lovely, great quality and the service fantastic. A mixture of hot and cold options were available - eg pancakes, scrambled eggs, fruit and yogurt, bagels etc etc The hotel is located in the old part of the town within easy walking distance of all of the main sights and attractions in Athens. The streets around the hotel are narrow quirky streets with bars and restaurants and smaller shops mixed with some empty/run down shops. There is a real character to the area and it certainly isn't bland. We felt perfectly safe at all times. The one thing to note is that the bars were quite noisy on Saturday night until quite late. This is isn't a criticism, just an observation. Its a really vibrant part of town and people are out enjoying themselves. There is plenty of choice of bars and restaurants so its easy to find somewhere to eat and drink nearby. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again, its a really lovely hotel in a great location with fantastic caring staff.

We are two well traveled seniors who enjoy spending time in a city absorbing the culture. Throughout our travels we have had both positive and negative experiences in apartment stays but our visit to Urban Nest was the best of all! Our original plan was to spend four nights here in 2020 on the way to Egypt but obviously those plans were derailed. Urban Nest was so cooperative in extending our prepaid stay that we decided to double our Greece visit to eight nights. Not only did they allow us to use our four prepaid nights but they also gave us a discount on the remaining four nights. What a steal! But it gets better. The service at Urban Nest is the BEST service one could expect. We are currently on day 7 and here are some highlights: 1. The group of young women running this small boutique hotel are top notch—they can’t do enough for us. 2. Excellent breakfast included. 3. There is usually someone at the front desk so housekeeping is quick to respond—and “restore” your room. Much appreciated. 4. Laundry can be sent out and returned same day at fair price. 5. Our apartment has two thermostats—separate thermostat for the bedroom . 6. We prefer quiet rooms to view rooms so we are in back away from any potential street noise. Room 4A. No earplugs necessary for this light sleeper. 7. Excellent location, restaurants all around. Walk to Acropolis. 8. Rooms are exactly as shown on website. 9. Will arrange dependable airport transportation at a fair price.
