The hotel is down a little narrow street. Instead of repeating what has been said, I will provide a few bullet points. 1. The staff is very friendly and helpful. - Adonis has a very welcoming demeanor. - Andreas is very helpful and provided a great recommendation for dinner on the water. He suggested Zorbas which was exactly what my... More

We stayed here a total of 4 nights, two on each end of our trip to Santorini. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. Staff were very friendly & helpful. The hotel is modern with nice bathrooms and amenities. The included breakfast was very good and had plenty to offer. If you arrive into Athens by air you can take the... More

The hotel itself is very nice, with a helpful staff and a good breakfast. However, we arrived at night and my first impression of the area was not great. The walls of the buildings in that area are covered in graffiti and there is an abandoned building just across the street. The hotel staff had mentioned restaurants near Exarchia Square... More

It's a great place to situated in Athens, looking at cost, location, rooms (design & space), breakfast etc. the hotel is really clean and hat a coffeebar + lounge on the ground floor where they serve great coffee, softdrinks and some small meals (not for diner). Although this hotel isn't right in the city centre its only takes 20 minutes to get in the main central area (5-10 minute walk to Metro (Victoria) and then another 10 minutes to get to most places). The reception staff were extremely helpfully especially the guy that worked most afternoons/evenings. Room had everything we need but my only negative was... More

Very convenient hotel in Athens. Close to Victoria station in a quiet area it is a good spot for a couple of days. Breakfast is awesome and rooms are big and clean. The staff is nice. It close by to the exarcheia square which is very lively and not touristy. Stop for a drink and enjoy a genuine Greek atmosphere

Good design, good location near the Archeological Museum. We are really truly impressed by the staff, efficent, smart, friendly, tolerant. The room has a kitchinette, the street is calm. We passed a 3-days holiday with a great feeling of confidence. It is a perfect 3* hotel.

Having read previous reviews I expected something better! Our room was indeed very loud at night but I expected that. However I was surprised that the room was not clean enough . Unfortunately first impressions count and I found toe nail cuttings (big and obvious) in my bath . The guys at reception were very friendly and actually moved us... More

The room was spacious the breakfast was good for the price paid. The shower however was a whole different story. We spent some time, wiping water off the tiles floor because it was dificult to keep the water inside. LOL it was funny though, no major issue with the hotel and it made the stay interesting. We would stay at... More

Staying in Exarchia

Neighbourhood Profile
Exarchia
Exarchia is in many ways Athens’ best-kept secret, discovered by relatively few international visitors. Located behind the main University and Polytechnic buildings, it is unsurprisingly home to many students, intellectuals and politicos. This is reflected in the area’s vibrant street art and graffiti, which seems to cover almost every inch of wall space. Some of the best Athenian tavernas are located here, as well as its most alternative bars and underground music venues. You'll find political bookshops and quirky stores here, yet it is also a neighborhood inhabited by families and older folk. On Saturdays, punks and grandmothers alike head for Kallidromiou Street, nestled below Strefi Hill, to pick up fresh produce at the traditional laiki agora (street market).
