We picked this hotel based on the fact that it was pet friendly and had decent reviews. It's a motel straight out of the sixties with original decor and no upgrades. The room wasn't horrible but it had no AC no internet and only a payphone outside by the office. The bathrooms need an upgrade and a good scrub, along...

This is a no frills, retro motel on the TransCanada Highway. The rooms are old and dated, but very clean, and were quiet considering the location. Old TV, free WiFi, fridge, an Ok bed and a good shower provided..don't expect coffee, breakfast or toiletries. It is certainly fine for one night. Visit Schreiber Beach on Lake Superior if you have...

The motel doesn't look like much from the outside, but it's clean and neat. The mattresses weren't the greatest, but I didn't have trouble falling asleep. You could barely hear the traffic on the TCH. AC worked well!

We enjoyed our one night stay in the motel. The room was basic but very clean and the owners made sure we had all the necessities. We were given helpful information about the area as well. Definitely would stay here on another visit to Schreiber. (Close to the highway but the noise was minimal.)

We spent one night in this motel and it was enough. The building is very old, the furniture and te towels too. The price is low, $ 65, but it would be indecent to ask for more. Tiny room with musty smell included.

Pros: - Very cheap prices - $56-65 - Bar fridge - Working TV Cons: - A little loud from highway traffic but most motels are on this route. - Room was outdated and the bed was hard. Back was stiff the next day. - No fan in the shower so it steams up the entire room and the light crackled...

In Terrace Bay, the young desk clerk at a non-descript motel where every room had a sign telling customers that they could smoke in theirs rooms sent us to the pleasant little Sunset Motel in Schreiber, a short drive down the road. There's nothing particularly special about the Sunset, but you won't have to worry about feeling that your clothing...
