Everything about this hotel was idylic. Right on the Douro. The staff were helpful and friendly. Very good deal as it was a quiet time. Excellent breakfast in a great setting. A nice room with balcony and Douro view. The restaurant had good choices and a nice setting overlooking the river with an option to dine al fresco (weather permitting)...

Good for quick business stay in Porto. fifteen minutes from Porto historic center, near to market, shoppings, hospital and other comercial points. Good parking service. Modest but fair breakfast. Good alternative for who wants more space (not to much more) than hotel in center can deliver.

Good value for a short stay.Very friendly staff. Easy access to all the attractions and surrounded by traditional restaurants. Very nice place to relax. Metro station Casa da Musica 5min away. Giving direct line to airport and seaside. We got a €30 pass for 3days for two, getting access on public transport for all of Porto. Did not use it...

The hotel is well located near Rotunda da Boavista, where is Casa da Música. The subway (casa da música) is 5min walk. The rooms are nice and simple. What I love more is breakfast, many variety. You have some nice restaurants near by.

Enjoyed my stay here and they got a real good resturant a few doors away, close to get into the city which was well worth a look around, wanted to visit the new Hard Rock Cafe but builders still working, the bedroom was real nice with wifi and a great buffet breakfast would recommend

Wonderful location, room is basic but perfect for a short city stay. Older style hotel with the friendliest staff. Very quiet and had 3 nights perfect sleep. No free parking, but plenty of free on street parking during the night. The coffee shop next door has one of the best coffees in town.Would recommend to anyone.

Quite fair rates (65€) when booked over internet. Very spacious room, furniture was correct, a bit worn but all in working order. Mini bar was well filed and cold. Bathroom also very spacious. Service friendly and efficient. there is no view, but the views on Porto are best enjoyed when walking anyway :-)

Pros: - Active neighborhood (1 min from casa de musica). - Non centralized air conditioner. - Good room space with respect to mid-level budget. Cons: - Old smelly carpet. - Very small seating space in reception. - Stuff are not knowledgeable enough to tell how to explore the city.

I stayed in this Hotel for two nights during a business travel to Porto. It delivers what is intended fro a quick business visit: a comfortable room with good space, free and proper (speed and network) WiFi and standard breakfast. You can have access to the parking of Peninsula, next to the Hotel. Great location: easy to get there and...

I stayed twice in June, 2015. The first time was for a conference, then my wife joined me for some traveling in Portugal (highly recommended!) and when we got back to Porto, we stayed at the Douro since I had enjoyed it so much. She enjoyed it, too. It is a bit on the modest side: not the center of...
