I spent a week with my mum in Feb. There's air con to keep you warm or cool you off. Free wifi. The staff are friendly and helpfull. It's a laid back place. Rooms are a good size. And no issues with the room or cleaning. It's in a good location. Close to everything. The only problem is when it...

Very central, with free wi-fi, budget hotel, the A/C smelled very old when working. pay attention on the day you are staying, if you like to sleep, better to chose a higher floor, during the weekends is very noisy

Malaposta is a well positioned hotel: near the center, but far enough from it, letting guests the opportunity to discover a less tourist part of the city. The breakfast is nice and well-stocked. Despite of these good points, in my humble opinion services could be largely improved, specially reception and cleaning. I've been accommodated in a 4th floor room and...

i was there in may 2013. for 3 days. room was ok, breakfast was poor, but location is wonderful. down the street are two clubs. one is for rock fans, and one is for fancy ppl. little bit for everyone. because that all night people cruising through the street. all in all not bad. once again: location is a key.

Excellent location, perfectly adequate bedroom, okay breakfast (though in a very tight space), very friendly reception staff but for me completely overshadowed by the appalling noise. The hotel appears to sit on top of a nightclub that boomed out till gone 11 on Sunday morning. I have never slept so badly. We had the bad luck to stay during the...

Stayed at Malaposta for 4 days. The hotel is nothing special but went to sleep there and had breakfast there, since we went exploring the city. Well located and most sites 15 minutes walk away. Very friendly staff. Decent breakfast with a good variety and very delicious especially considering how affordable the stay was (shocking). When you arrive at the...

I stayed recently at this hotel with a group of 9 friends. Hotel was clean, rooms were well sized, decent shower/ bathroom ( with hairdryer ! ). Breakfast was also good for continental, with plenty of fresh bread, fruit, meats, cheeses etc. Coffee wasn't so good ! It was a bit noisy on the saturday night, as the room i...

Nise hotel, easy to fint from Trindade metro station, direct route from airport. Nothing special, but what can you expect so cheap? Good continental breakfast, friendly stuff, possibility to achieve extra bed, good bathroom, clean, street not noisy.

The Malaposta welcomed us as we just turned up unexpected to book in. No problems there..and a good cheap price per night for B&B. Rooms were typical normal hotel rooms, with full facilities, and the breakfast was the typical Continental...including... meat/cheese/rolls/cereal food. Good location...within 15 minute walk to the centre of the town. I recommend! and Porto and Gaia are...

Contrary to some review posted here I found the staff to be friendly and helpful. I had a room facing the street but it was not noisy. It had been recently completely renovated and was very comfortable with a new and firm mattress. It is near by the metro going to the airport and walkable distance from the center. All...
