The room and facilities were fine but the challenge was (at least with our room) that there is a bakery located behind the room. It was hot and we had the windows open and had poor sleep because the constant all night long noise of the bakery. 35 Euro in the middle of town was a key indicator, and the... More

This hotel is located centrally, is very clean, and is not expensive. I think it's a good simple bet for a visit to Guimaraes. The reception was at times extremely friendly, at other somewhat glum, depending on who was on duty. We were very happy with our stay.

The Hotel is in the middle of the old town and so in a perfect position for restaurants and bars. Not all the staff speak English so you may have to be a little patient when you send and receive emails info@residencialtrinas.com The rooms are reasonably modern and clean and are very good value for money. It is slightly noisy... More

Clean and comfortable, plenty of hot water, spare but decent breakfast, central to Guimaraes' tourist attractions. Staff friendly and cooperative. A very nice place for a very reasonable rate. The street out front can get a little noisy very early of a morning - make sure you close the shutters before retiring.

This was a great find and one we would recommend. Right in the heart of the old town but still on a quiet street. Room was comfortable, spacious with a degree of charm. Breakfast was a little slow one morning but that was minor issue. Staff were friendly and professional. The internet speed was lightning fast from the first floor... More

We can highly recomend the Residencial Trinas, and would not mind to return to the place. It is right in the middle of the wonderful old town, and at 30€ for two persons, breakfast for a... More

Guimaraes is a wonderful town and the Trinas is a wonderful place to stay. It is right in the old town and within walking distance to everything in Guimaraes. When I am looking for inexpensive places to stay I am always concerned about cleanliness. My room and all of the common areas was very clean. I felt comfortable and safe.... More

This small hotel is right in the middle of the old town but the hotel itself is quite new and modern. All was immaculate and the price was very low at 30 euros per night for an en suite room.
