We stayed for a day and had a great evening. The location is perfect for an evening out with lots of stores and restaurants around, historical sites, clean streets, good ambiance all around. The hotel stands out for it's modern renovted design in such an old town. We really liked the way everythnig is organized, and even though the rooms are small feels confortable. The staff had all our requests attended with friendliness so we want to share that we had a great experience with them.

Situated right in the heart of the historic part of Braga this is a decent hotel. Parking in a public garage was 15 mins away and parking charges very reasonable for a 2 night stay. Hotel staff super helpful. Rooms and bathrooms are small. We had a problem with the first room allocated (300) with sofa bed and poor internal layout. This was handled very professionally and we moved to a better room (for us) and as it was cheaper we settled with a very nice Vinho Verde...everyone satisfied. Breakfasts were good with plenty of choice.

We stayed 3 nights in this delightful hotel as our base for exploring the region. The top floor suites look bigger in the online photos than they actually are, yet the room was comfy and we loved hearing the bells chime. Please be aware that the elevator is narrow. The breakfast is the usual fare of yogurt, cheeses, breads, and fruits. Our western-facing windows permitted us to see the sunset over the Arco da Porta Nova. Located at one end of the main shopping street, we had lots of options of cafes and restaurants as we strolled towards the central square area. It is also directly across from a small bakery cafe. Being a university town, we arrived just as new students were being initiated into their academic units and marching around in colorful groups singing songs until 4am, Since we had a rental car, going to Peneda Geres naitonal park was an easy drive and we enjoyed hiking and then returning to the hotel. The hotel recommends the Park Center (R. Cardoso Avelino 25, 4700-219) which is a short (10 minute) easy walk slightly uphill to the hotel. In October, the Park Center was mostly empty and quick to get in and out.

Our group stayed 2 nights. The location in the town's main pedestrian mall cannot be beat, but its no-frill rooms are very tight, there is street noise at night, and no defined closet. There is CNN, a great breakfast with hot items, balcony, articulating wood shutter, and a helpful front desk staff.
We were in room 304, one of rooms with a balcony which meant paying a bit more -- 84E per night.
Great for 2 nights but probably not so great if more. And its easy on the budget.

We spent several nights in this charming, clean and well-maintained place. The location is walking distance to the train station and the main square, yet feels far removed and peaceful. We have stayed in other hotels in Braga, but this is the best yet!

Also highly recommend the duck rice at nearby Félix Taberna, and the chicken with garnishes at the Churrasqueira da Se.

Hotel is in newly remodeled building right next to oldest medieval house in Braga (at least according to our walking tour guide). Rooms are very small but with lots of character and charm. Our room did not have a closet but did include a rack for hanging clothes. Bathroom was small but functional. All street parking requires payment (except on Sunday). Ended up parking in garage few minutes walk from hotel. Cost was ~12.00 Euro a day. Hotel is located inside old medical wall walking distance to most historic places.

Rather a strange place. Wonderful location, really helpful staff. Room has all mod cons. However, a lot of rooms in a small building with only one elevator (busy, long waits). Room entrances cluster close together (noise) and the room itself is cramped. No drawers for storage in mine. But room clean, AC good, bed comfy. Only desk/counter was drop down. If you can get a good deal and are ok with it's almost hostel vibe then fine. If you want to treat yourself to come comfort not so much.

We stayed here for one night recently. The staff were very helpful and friendly and the location absolutely ideal for sightseeing in the city. Whilst our room was not large it was well appointed and quiet (this is largely a traffic free area). We had a reasonably priced dinner - well presented and tasty.

My husband and I stayed at this lovely guest house while exploring the magical city of Braga.
The renovated building is gorgeous. The manager and in particular Maria F. and Jose P. were superb. These two young people could not do enough to make sure that whatever we needed they could provide. The manager was as well so kind and embracing. This type of service is not the norm. We highly recommend you pay them a visit.

An extremely efficiently well run hotel in the centre of Braga near the city gate. Close to many restaurants and sightseeing venues. The room was exceptionally comfortable with aircon and overlooked the small square and city gate. Extensive breakfast was very welcoming after a restful night on a comfortable bed. This is our second visit.
