This is really Good place close to The Old Town. Nice Guest and Great breakfast.The rooms are not modern, but clean. We had problem with hot water, you must wait about 5 min to have suitable temperature. Nice tarrace with flowers, The fridge, kitchenwares are available to all The guests.We recommend this place for The People who are looking for the nice but not modern place close to The City with Great breakfast. We traited this apartament Like Good one to discover Madeira . EVERYTHING WAS CLEAN SO WE GIVE nice 4*

I very much enjoyed my stay here. The owner is kind and very helpful. He arranged an affordable transit from and to the Madeira airport (it could not have been easier). My room was tidy and comfortable and the view from the connecting patio was terrific. I would certainly stay here again.

A peaceful place in Funchal, with great terrace to get som sun or enjoy the view of Funchal with a glass of Madeira in the evening with all the lights , The breakfast was good (excellent eggs) , the WiFi good in all areas, the place was very clean and tidy. they also provide with a fridge and a microwave

We had a twin room on the top floor with our own balcony with fabulous views over Funchal and the harbour where the cruise ships dock. The property is only 15 mins walk from the Cathedral and if you walk back up Rua de Carreirra it is only slightly uphill apart from the last 80 metres which gets a bit steeper. The owner and his wife are very friendly and helpful speaking good English. The rooms are spotless and we had a good size en suite. I would not hesitate to return.

Great return visit to Vila Teresinha, fully lived up to our memories from last year. And got one of balcony rooms as well, which was a real bonus. Try and ask if they are available when booking. Very friendly proprietor, full of useful info. We've booked again for next year..

we do not have fridges in room however there is a big fridge in the all that all rooms have a box you can store you things

I do not know whether or not you can have a fridge of your own in the room. AFAIK the rooms are small. But you should contact the owner to know. Most probably it will, however, not be necessary. There is a big fridge for everybody's use on the 2nd floor. For every room there is a box with the room number. We use to store there our wine and some food. Maybe it will be sufficient for you, or do you need the insulin very near to you?

There are no room safes, but you can put valuables in the reception safe
