My wife & I visited the Vila Vicencia as a last minute decision based on the Late Deal & excellent reviews.I emailed the hotel requesting a high floor with a nice view and a sunny aspect.I got an almost instant reply from Susana saying she had logged the request and would do her best to meet it. On arrival at...

This is one of those Jewels of a Hotel, you want to sing the praises for, but then know that if it get's too popular you may not be able to go back because it will be so busy. The transfer from the Airport was interesting, and we saw many of our companion travellers being dropped off at huge Hotels,...

A fabulous first visit to Madeira! This place is just lovely, not modern decor but furniture befitting the villa. Set in colourful gardens with lots of little hideaway places to sit and chill. Just relax and listen to the birds! We had a very comfortable bedroom with a sitting room and spacious bathroom. Staff very friendly and helpful and breakfast...

One reads many TA commentaries about hotels, places to visit and restaurants when planning a trip to a foreign place. Read no more, if you want away from the concrete jungle or better still, fancy a bit of old world charm - read on. The villas (3) are set around a sun terrace. They are secreted away behind a security...

Clean comfortable spacious room (a mirror in the bedroom would have been useful ) . Staff very friendly...

Booked this through Thompson, we don't normally book a package holiday but we were pleasantly surprised. This is a gem, hidden away behind gates, you wouldn't know it was there. Set in a peaceful garden the staff were really friendly, breakfasts varied and plentiful, good local restaurants close by, we cannot recommend this villa highly enough.

Our second visit here and just as good. Like home from home. Three villas, we were in room 45 this time, the junior suite. Peaceful gardens. All the same staff still helpful and friendly. So nice to come back at night and the fire is lit. In a great location for restaurants and buses. Will return
