We had a lovely holiday for February Half term. We stayed here for 4 nights and we loved it here from the room, to the staff to the breakfast. The hotel was very clean, can not fault the cleanliness at all, even the changing room and the pools were perfect. We also love the fact that the hotel offered free transfer bus to Funchal town during the day but do book early at reception as it’s very popular. And every evening they have entertainment, my little boy loved it. Would definitely stay here again.
We stayed at the Alto Lido with our granddaughter 2 years ago just loved it,it's just out of this world loved all of it our granddaughter didn't want to leave, beautiful hotel very very clean the staff are great the service wonderful and the food oh my god beautiful,a holiday that we won't forget thank you Alto Lido for everything we will be back our love Neil &Manuela Galvin & Ava Gracexxxx😘😘😘
A lot of positive points for this hotel. Public area stylishly designed and furnished although personally think bar area is over lit at night. Staff very pleasant. Pools are very high standard. Good location for restaraunts locally. Downsides for us were rooms so what somewhat spartan and water pressure for shower variable. Layout of dining room for breakfast very institutionalised with rows of tables, reminded us of school canteen. Hot food not brilliant and omelettes very greasy. Strangely do not provide coffee or milk in the room. Does represent good value for money but just needs tweaking in the dining area and turn down the lights. Do wish all the staff well during this crisis and hope you can re-open soon
Stayed here for a week At the beginning of March I knew the hotel have been that we furbished but was pleasantly surprised at the very high standard of hotel we got for the moneyspinner. It was spotlessly clean throughout especially our rooms which were clean modern and very comfortable. The pool areas were fantastic As were the sunbeds views and pool bar. Every member of staff came into contact with you so pleasant and helpful and really nice day so special. Breakfast every morning was of a very high quality lots of choices and Umberto Made sure everything smoothly please say hello to him from the two princesses ha ha This was our first trip to Madeira and it certainly will be a laugh and listening would like to come back and stay at this hotel once more xx Thanks for
The hotel has good ameneties, is kept to a high standard of cleanliness., rooms with balcony and see view were well equipped and very large. Would definately stay again. Evening entertainment was varied every day. Food in the restaurant was fresh and constantly replenished.
