I very recently stayed with my partner for three nights at Casa Miradouro during a short four day visit to Sintra/ Lisbon, and I believe we made the right decision! This place is very conveniently located (5-7 min slow walk from the Palacio Nacional - I am not sure why the last review indicates 15 minutes!!), the house is wonderful,...

The Casa Miradouro is a fifteen-minute walk from the historic center of Sintra. I stayed in room number four for three nights, this past February. The room was a nice size, had a big bathroom, and two French doors that opened up. Unfortunately the bed was not comfortable and the view was nothing special. It looked towards the Northwest, so...

Upon arrival, greeted at the door by a charming hostess, Ziza, who gave us our choice of rooms. Rooms are clean and comfortable and beautifully appointed. Public rooms are charming and inviting, views from the hotel are lovely, breakfast room is really nice and breakfast is a feast with eggs cooked to order and everything else you could want. Ziza...

My boyfriend and I stayed at Casa Miradouro for 3 nights and had a wonderful stay. The house itself is very charming and has beautiful rooms. The breakfast is everything you could wish for... fresh juice, coffee, tea, water, cereals, yoghurt, fresh fruit, lovely bread, cheese, meat, all kind of eggs, pastries, etc. And most important the lady who welcomes...

The lady in the hotel was very charming and made us feel very welcome. The room was a decent size, clean, and had a very comfortable bed. The breakfast buffet was great! Coffee, orange juice, different kinds of fresh bread, cold meat, cheese, scrambled eggs, smoked salmon, cereals, fresh fruit, cakes!!!! The only criticism I have, (and it's not a...

We felt really special at Casa Miradouro. Zizu (whose name I am not spelling correctly) has to be one of the most charming hosts you will ever meet. She treated us to wine and port in the living room and was unfailingly helpful. As other reviewers have noted, this is like staying at an upscale B&B. We found our room...

We arrived in Sintra for 2 nights and were very pleased with Casa Miradouro, location is down the hill a bit form town but a great way to start the day. Breakfest was all you would ever need inlcuding hot dishes. Place is very clean and beds are to die for. What sets this place above the rest is the...

We only spent one night at the Casa Miradouro, which was probably a good thing. As I always do when staying at small hotels, I had phoned ahead to make sure it was OK to bring our kids. On our arrival, the lady (who is very nice) looked very surprised to see us and asked us three times if we...

For the going rate, you cannot get better than this unique place in a town like Sintra. I was impressed not only with the general service, appearance and feel of the environs, but most delightfully surprised by the genuine interest and care of its keepers. I have promised the lady of the house, Charlotte, that I will be back. Obrigado!...
