We stayed in a two bedroom apartment here for six nights and were not disappointed. Nicely furnished, with a well-equipped kitchen, this place makes a great base in central Lisbon to explore the city. Very close to the main square near the waterfront. Within walking distance of tram stops and train stations for exploring beyond the city centre. Reception was welcoming on arrival and helpful when we had a minor issue with a coffee machine malfunction! The wine and biscuits awaiting us in our apartment were a nice touch too. We’d definitely recommend this place.

The hotel apartment is on a fairly busy street but exploring the city is very easy from the location. The apartment is well maintained and the management staff if great. The apartment is safe and secure.

Apartment was well equipped and nicely decorated however on the first day we discovered that the washing machine wasn't working.I spoke to Carla from the front desk and it was promptly attended to. However, the handyman stained the floors with his shoes after the repair. We informed front desk that we needed housekeeping to clean the floors but this was never or not done properly because the kitchen floors were stained and dirty till the day we left. I gave up asking for housekeeping after numerous calls for it weren't attended to. On the 3rd morning, found out the oven wasn't working but that too was promptly attended to however kitchen floors weren't. Overall excellent stay letdown by the bad housekeeping and unserviceable equipment.

We stayed in Madalena Hermitage for 4 nights. It’s at great location-we caught buses/metro from Praca do Comercio most of the time, which is only 3 minutes away. There’s a supermarket about 400 m away-it’s uphill walk though so bring your energy and walking shoes! We ate at the little restaurant Paladarium right next to the supermarket and it’s great! Not expensive either. You can catch Tram 15 to Belem. Tram 28 is overrated-millions of people on the bus everyday. Locals do recommend it. There are several good restaurants nearby. Just search google. The accommodation has everything you need- shampoo/body soap, washer/dryer, kitchen appliance, etc. we had the two bedrooms where one had a full and the other one had two twin beds. Reception was friendly and just downstairs. There is an elevator to carry stuff upstairs. No keys given but codes, which we love. The area is completely safe. I had no problem getting around with my two boys. Overall a great experience. Would recommend to a anyone who wants to visit Lisbon

Location, service, comfort and decor ... all fabulous. The apartments are decorated so prettily and the views are great. It is also quiet even though it is in a busy part of town. Great restaurants close by. Metro is a 5 min walk. We got some really helpful tips from the friendly ladies at reception. Only good things to say and I would definitely stay here again.

We were told that no house cleaning staff enter the apartment unless you request it. There are two cafes very close by on Rua dos Bacalhoeiros, just across from the apartment building and down a side street. We went to Rainha d'Amelia and had an excellent breakfast for 5 euros (or less) with freshly squeezed orange juice, excellent cappuccinos and fresh buns and pastry.
