I have made a booking to enjoy a quick vacation with my wife and newly born. Unfortunately, the flight attendant did not allow us to the flight due to having the resident card of our child and not yet his passport (although we know that traveling within the EU is perfectly OK using the resident card and not necessarily the passport, so we sis our due diligence). I tried to contact you and one of your sides said that he can't make a decision regarding my refund so he told me to contact Hostel to contact the hotel. I tried to contact hotels.com and the hotel itself to cancel the booking and get refunded. We were shocked and disappointed with the unprofessional attitude in dealing with our frustrating situation. We even tried to cancel the rest of the days and only lose the fees for booking the first night, but we did not receive any professional response to handle our complaint. there is a lot of option to make your customer satisfied. 1- total refund. 2- Refund for only 3 night 4- Voucher for my next reservation. I am waiting for a response from you regarding my issue otherwise this is definitely gonna be my last booking through you. My friends and family are also keen to know of your response and postponing their potential booking through you, not to face frustrating customer service as well. Hotels.com

Service - Horrible Rooms - Smell bad, damaged furniture, damaged doors, damaged and noisy bed, damaged electrical plugs, damaged bathrooms equipments, signs of humidity everywhere. Amenities - Horrible, the pool is a real health danger, the structure of the pool is at risk of collapsing, the bar and restaurant smell bad and look filthy. Everything is old. I get the feeling this hotel is a scam for tourists, high prices and the worst service you can imagine, also I was informed that some crimes were committed at this place with workers from the hotel involved.

We had a super four nights in Lisbon (what an amazing city!) and enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Breakfast was good (lovely hot bacon and scrambled eggs), reception staff very helpful and lady at bar very friendly, rooms spacious and clean, free Wi-fi and not too far from attractions location wise. Don't come for the pool though, we didn't so didn't bother us but was rather small and run down. Only downside was the way we were spoken to be Isobella at breakfast. We did not pay for breakfast before this trip but wanted to add that on once we were at the hotel. The reception staff very kindly said no worries, we can't pay for it all up front but let the breakfast staff know each day, they can file a receipt and we pay on checking out. We thought, perfect. This was fine each day until our last day when as usual we would go to breakfast, however this time Isobella, who seemed to be in charge, didn't seem to like our way of doing things (as we were told to by reception!) so I had to follow her to reception for her to moan about us to them! Felt like a naughty school kid being taken to detention... we were not amused. Reception apologized about her behaviour however she continued to walk around the breakfast room arms crossed, grumpy look and rather intimidating. She evidently did not want us there. Even waiting for our taxi in the afternoon on departure, she walked around the lobby in this way. My mum was quite upset with the way she treated us that morning. A smile and welcoming attitude is surely the basics of customer service and really not that difficult to do? Please can you address this so future guests aren't dealt like how we were. However, that story aside. Overall, we had an amazing trip to Lisbon, and everyone else at this hotel from breakfast waiters/waitresses to the cleaners and receptionists were so lovely and helpful and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you!

Very large rooms, open and spacious. Nice entrance, staff is welcoming. Mini bar fridge could have been more filled & clean. In a need of updating as room we stayed in looked very outdated. Nice breakfast with a great choice.
